Here at A New Start, we know Opioid Addiction is a CHRONIC DISEASE due to a deficiency of dopamine, a brain chemical that allows people to feel normal, deal with life, be content and happy. It is every bit as much a chronic disease as diabetes which is due to a deficiency of insulin in the pancreas or even Parkinson's disease which is also due to the deficiency of dopamine.
A chronic disease cannot be cured but it can be managed, and we have a truly empathetic team here who care deeply. Our team knows where you have been, where you are currently, and where you have the potential to go.
We treat addiction with Medicine-Assisted Treatment (MAT) along with access to a 12-step recovery program and behavioral therapy resulting in complete treatment of mind, body, and spirit.
We know this disease affects the addicted person and those closest to them often causing separation from family and friends, however with true recovery we also have found that these relationships can be rebuilt.

They let me in on a BIG secret first couple of days, they said just one day at a time don't try to take on changing over night or admission for all the guilt you have opened your eyes to too quickly because it will not happen!! I pushed n it pushed back, they saved my life n gave me my health back, my joy, my drive my Lil things in life started to slowly take shape n priorities formed to reality. Jarrod Leach5 StarI've been going to A New Start for 3 weeks and so far, they have made it as pleasant for me as a place like this can possibly be. Even though I'm a new patient here, I have spent a LOT of time at Suboxone clinics off and on for the last decade, and this is the best one I've been to. They're very efficient at drug testing, touching base with you, and then getting you seen by your doctor (you will often see a Nurse Practitioner for your script-both that I've met are really nice.) I've never spent more than 10 minutes in the waiting room here, tbh. (I don't want to make them sound like a dispensing machine, as they do require more from you than to just show up. They expect you to attend one-on-one therapy and group therapy sessions when you're in your first 3 months. After that, monthly N/A meetings, I believe.) I'm very grateful for them and will continue to come here as long as they're willing to work with me.Sunday 21st February 2021

I sure wouldn’t be where I am today without my individual therapist, Kendall Armstrong and my AMAZING recovery physician, Dr. Vincent♥️ This facility gave me hope, when I didn’t think hope was possible. The program gave me a second chance at life, to be the person I always knew I could be💪🏻 I’m living proof that CHANGE IS POSSIBLE 💯💯💪🏻👍🏻 You just got to want it bad enough 💪🏻💪🏻 I’m forever grateful to the staff and doctors for all they have helped me achieve and conquer.
