Living at A & S was an amazing experience. It is a safe environment for anyone trying to make positive changes in their lives. The living quarters are very spacious and clean. All of the bedrooms are single occupancy whereas most other sober homes force two people to a bedroom. It is affordable, safe, and above all.. accommodating. They do all they can to meet each individual's needs and provide many resources for a successful recovery. Hands down the best sober home I've ever lived in, and I've been in many.

I must say my experience at A&S addiction Services was very uplifting. It provided positive structure lead by carrying individual, Chris, who become my family member for life. The apartment was beautiful cozy n clean. If you are looking for a positive stepping stone, this is where you need to be. Excellent productive experience

I have been here at one of Chris's houses on North Main Street in Waterbury for over 9 months now. I came from Morris House and before that a treatment program I now have 14 months sober. This has been a place for me that has been safe drug and alcohol wise along with aesthetically pleasing and cost efficient with other men sharing apartments in house. We have a weekly house meeting along with a very important once a week clinical meeting and Chris is always available and supportive with an ear or whatever might be going on with me and or others. This is a well-rounded program and I am happy to be a part of. I highly suggest that others take advantage of this opportunity if they are serious about getting their lives together.

I have been in a couple sober living environments. But none have have helped me out like A&S. The owner Chris goes above and beyond to help out everyone that lives here. My attitude has changed because of the environment I'm in. The fact that there are counselors that really do care including Chris have helped greatly in my recovery. There can be a lot said in the way this place is run. And to meet old tenets that have transitioned successfully, come back to give thanks and give back is remarkable. To anyone that has had enough of their old life. I highly recommend giving yourself a chance to change and A&S service a call.

A NEW BEGINNING! Prior to coming to A&S, I was scared, a social wreck and didn't feel loved. I was sober but still felt empty. When I Came to A&S, I found a healthy living environment and surrounded myself with a healthy network of men. The love that has been shown is unconditional. I don't feel judged, but rather feel like I can be who God intended me to be. If I had been living alone during this COVID pandemic, my life would have been a disaster. I would have been isolated and the chances of me picking up a drink would have increased. With the guidance that I have received here, It has made it much easier to face the world in terms of work, leisure and the obstacles of daily life. I now face obstacles with confidence; the same obstacles that used to hinder my success. I feel like this is where I belong and feel that I can only grow in leaps and bonds from the love and support that I've received here. I wouldn't change this experience for the world!
