Addiction treatment is very complicated. There are many factors that affect successful recovery. This level of care is considered the standard of care for opioid use disorder. That being said not everyone is ready to recover and some people, despite the best efforts of a care team, will continue to use substances and require alternative levels of care. Like other diseases some will die of the disorder, but left untreated opioid addiction is almost universally fatal, or will result in incarceration. At Addiction Allies, we use medication, behavioral education, and support to help people to implement meaningful change. We care about the people and families in our care and we will continue to do our best to help impact the lives of those affected by substance use disorders.

The staff is really friendly and helpful they even help with counseling and other things such as VASAP and shelter .They are an excellent team and are truly there for you not just $$.When I first started my insurance wouldnt cover IOP but good ol doc he fixed me right on up thx doc your the best.

Total uncaring profit center prescription mill. My daughter almost died while under their care. She went to no counseling, which was a requirement to get subs prescription. While supposedly being drug screened at the Lynchburg facility and under Von Elten's care she was trading subs for other drugs. Find someone trained for mental health if you can.

Please read this review if you are seriously looking for a place that will care for you as a person and help you through real struggles we have as addicts like relapses, relationships, anxiety , depression , etc. and not shame you for it ! Rose was the main counselor and my go to person in the beginning that was probably about 3 or 4 years ago ! Thank God for her .I texted her about everything and talked to her about everything . They understand because of their personal experiences. He has since expanded his team and they are absolutely amazing. Not only did they help me with my addiction but whenever I would slip up they didn’t make me feel terrible for it ,because it is a part of recovery . That’s what kept me there ! Anywhere else I went I would just leave and go to another one ... That’s what didn’t make me run back to the drugs for GOOD ! So as time went on I was staying sober , no more relapses and enrolled in cosmetology school and graduated . After that I got pregnant. I was so scared and I was in Virginia alone and hadn’t told anyone . When I went for my appointment I told Rose and Dr. Von Elten because Ofcourse I was worried about the medications’ affects on the baby. Dr. V said not to worry he made me feel so confident in my decision Ofcourse to have the baby and that they had a new program they had just started for expecting mother’s and he encouraged me to do it so I did. Long story short I had My baby girl April 30, 2019 . She is healthy and beautiful . I moved back to Georgia for family support with my daughter and have yet to find another place like Dr. V’s. It truly made me realize that places like that are hard to come by and I have no idea what I would have done without them and I mean that . The most important thing for me was they made me feel like I was normal that I wasn’t just an addict who messed up all the time .
