Alcohol & Drug Council of Tompkins County is a private, non-profit agency which provides information, education, counseling and referral services for area residents and organizations.  Alcohol & Drug Council of Tompkins County views addiction as a progressive, treatable disease with recognizable symptoms. By providing prevention, education and counseling services to individuals and families, the Council strives to provide people with the support necessary for sobriety and good health. Nicelee Hollanbeck is a wonderful clinician and really seems to "get" things. I joined a a close friend for counseling and really enjoyed the helpful group therapy offered. The only issue I really noticed is the alarmingly high number of scummy, trashy people that end up there on some court order and bring down the rest of the people that genuinely want to get help.
