Life Improvement Center is a private organization which offers
individuals an opportunity to make positive behavioral changes
and to discover a new way to live. Participants are taught
new skills and are challenged to gain a deeper understanding
of why they make the choices they do. Alternatives participants
engage in a group process with trained facilitators. Through
the group process, material presented in class and homework
assignments, participants are encouraged to explore their
values and attitudes in relation to their behaviors and to
make the necessary changes for a more harmonious life-style.

Vennie Lomelli1 StarCounselor does not pay attention to details and misquoted statements given and gave a bizarre assessment in part not matching a true diagnosis. Same Info was given to another mental evaluation counselor not even close to a match. A misdiagnosis was given.Thursday 7th April 2022
Ginger Torrent1 StarI would give them no stars if that was an option. They cater to individuals who are in desperate situations with children yet offer no flexibility in appointment times or child care. Do realize that they are more expensive 150$ on their assessments and you will be assessed by an inexperienced “counselor”. Also realize that no matter what the details are of your situation that of course they are going to “recommend” further classes. They have an office in a low rent district and charge a premium. If you are stuck in a situation requiring an assessment then it would be best to just wait and go to origins. They are most certainly only interested in getting money and not in actually helping someone who is in need. Low overhead -rent and cheaply paid staff+ overpriced services=someone profiting on others pain. Then they require drug tests for any and every situation. And they stand inside the bathroom and watch you while you pee. It’s a very degrading process and they could care less.Friday 25th October 2019

The assessment interviewer will treat you as if you’re a junkie regardless of what your situation is and how you got there.
She may also be racist and/or sexist.
The staff will bring you in for the assessment after explaining over the phone that they do indeed have the program you’re looking for, set you up for an appointment- just to tell you that they can’t help you because they don’t have that program.. and they just keep your money anyway.
The assessment is 150$.
Doctors are supposed to help people.
Not make them feel like peasant ghetto trash.
