The latest National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) states that in the U.S., “among adults aged 18 or older in 2020, 21.0 percent (or 52.9 million people) had any mental illness (AMI) and 5.6 percent (or 14.2 million people) had serious mental illness (SMI) in the past year.”
These numbers are highest among young adults aged 18 to 25 with 30.6 percent of this age group reporting a mental illness in the past year.
According to data from 2020 provided by Mental Health America, Oklahoma ranks number 33 out of 51 (all U.S. states plus the District of Columbia). This ranking is determined by the overall prevalence of mental health disorders and access to care in Oklahoma.

Renee Brooks5 StarOur son made the choice to go to Ambrosia. He was there for 30 days and it changed his life forever. He was an active drug user for about 13 years. He has been clean and sober over 2 years now. The Ambrosia team kept in contact with us checking on our welfare as well as helping us to understand addiction and how we can do our part in his recovery. Even after he was discharged they continued to check in with him and us. Yes he had to make the choice himself, but they taught him how to cope with things without using drugs. Destiney Hlavaty5 StarI can confidently say that Ambrosia is the best alcohol/drug treatment I have been through. If you or a loved one is battling addiction I highly recommend Ambrosia. They really break down your own personal addictions and battles and teach you how to heal from the things we are using to numb or forget not just the addiction. They are respectful and dont make you feel like you are being talked down to because 90% of the staff have gone through the same thing. The counselors and psychiatrists are phenomenal. They really know how to find the best of the best. I was learning so much about myself and how to cope that I asked for an extension to stay three times until I couldn't stay any longer and then I asked to work there lol These people really have a passion for what they do and they are really good at it! Whether this is your first time or 26th time (like it was for me) Ambrosia is at the top of my list of places that really help you get and stay clean. They set you up for success not just get you clean for 30 days.Saturday 10th July 2021
