A caring, structured environment. If you want help staying clean .. Maurice..or "Mo" as us residents know him is a understanding, firm guy. If you want to get and stay clean and your actions show the same ..they'll help you with it all. Thanks Mo and Anchor of Hope for showing me another way to live .

I never truly understand recovery until I got here. We're like a family, we go through the good times and the bad times together. I thank God for opening this door for me.

I came to AOH 18 months ago because I wanted a better life. I can say I started using again after my brother died. I was on a roller coaster ride to hell, but AOH literally saved my life. This is my first rehab and it will be my last one. The reason being is that this a sober living facility you have to make a choice as to what you want. You have to make a choice as what you want no one can make you stop using you have to want it. If it wasn’t for this program I would be dead, I would have committed suicide because I couldn’t continue to live the way I was. You have to want help for anything to work for you. Blaming someone else for your inability to make a choice to stop using is on you and only you.

I was a resident and also an employee of aoh upfront they seem caring but in reality it’s all about the money they don’t provide the level of care and commitment they claim they lie cheat and steal I loaned them $4000 only ask fo )2000 back in over 5 months they have sent me $25 $50 and $40 twice The female director has relapsed several times on meth and carried in affairs with residents The male director has made several advances on female residents And the local probation along with other counties in the state will not send anyone there it’s really unfortunate that people struggling and fighting for their lives can’t trust and depend that aoh us there to help I can tell you first hand they are not And the money I lined them was sent to pay a lawyer off because of money not refunded they have no values other than money Feel free to contact me with any questions I would hate to know my loved ones had to depend on these people I I have recently made a complaint with the chamber of commerce and talking with an attorney about my money it’s a shame really

I don't know about the staff, but the organization is nothing but a crooked way to get money from people desperately looking for help. We tried to enter my brother into this program, and he was there for less than 5 hours, and claim there is no refund for the thousand dollar deposit they require. Apparently, they have trashy trailers and sounds like an unsafe place for recovering addicts.
