Would not recommend this place at all for mental health treatment. You would be better to go to IU Heath or somewhere in Indy. As a family, we have had a good experience with one outpatient provider, Magdalena Bambo. She is wonderful. Here's the real problem with the facility. They just don't care about the patients. Someone I care a great deal about was an inpatient. They adjusted her medicine over the course of three days and then sent her home with a follow-up appointment for three weeks later with an outpatient provider. Now said person is on the verge of a mental health emergency and neither inpatient serviced or outpatient services will help. Inpatient won't help since she is no longer inpatient even though they are the ones that adjusted her mess. Out patient won't help since she has not had her new patient appointment yet and do not any openings. They "can't' schedule her with another provider since she was assigned one when discharged. This so frustrating. Their advice, go to the ER. If you have ever been to the ER for Mental Health, there is very little they will do unless you are a danger to yourself or others. Steer clear of this facility. There have got to be better options!!!

Absolutely worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. When scheduling my visit with Magdelana Bambo the staff was extremely rude, dismissive, and spoke to me as I had no clue what I was doing. At time of check in the secretary was very rude. At time of check out the desk worker did not print the discharge paperwork as requested by the PNP and I had to ask someome else to print it for me. I was told to call when I needed medications filled - left a very detailed message and whoever called me back was extremely rude and very unprofessional saying she was "confused". Even in the waiting room for my appt I could hear coworkers talking rudely about others. Attire was not professional for a medical setting and everyone I spoke to besides Ms. Bambo was unpleasant, dismissive, rude, and highly unprofessional. Do not recommend going here to anyone, especially if you have a family member or are someone who needs gentle care.

I am a patient of Magdalene Bambo and she is absolutely amazing. I have no complaints at all. For the office staff.... would it kill them to smile? I don't think I have ever once seen any of them smile or look halfway happy. Also, whenever I leave a voicemail I never ever get a call back. On the other hand since I am so happy with my care from Magdalene it makes up for the bad parts of the office. I personally would recommend this practice since the doctors and NPs' here give such great care.

I am an ex-resident from the residential part of The Anderson Center. It’s been about 6 months since I’ve been discharged and now I’m in California. I would say that my experience was overall good! The staff were supportive and I even ended up getting comfortable crying in front of adults, which was hard since they were strangers at the time. My stay was 6 months, but the therapy groups didn’t really replay themselves that much, since there were so many topics that kept popping up! I have a lot of staff that I appreciate and who helped me understand myself even when I couldn’t even understand myself. With the help of multiple staff, nurses, and my therapist, I now have a functional relationship with my mom. Kevin (Batman), Al (Albus), Amy (BEST yoga instructor), Justin (Stinky Dookie), Linda (the nurse I think about every time I’m at a Goodwill), and much more- but this is getting very long as a review of this place. I would say that they are LGBTQ+ positive with using pronouns and preferred names. I was even allowed my testosterone in there! Also, big shout out to Theresa for helping me with the testosterone too! But everyone was nice and they seemed to really care about the residents.

My name is John and I had called to speak with the mother of my child in regards to our child going to be in my care instead of her mother who is about to be moving out of the county. The nurse that I had spoken to was rude as well as incompetent. The nurse said that she would not go tell her that I would like to have her call me right away or even to take my number for her to please contact me about our child and I was still treated with disrespect and I would definitely recommend that no-one be seen as a patient there as they are treated horribly wrong and forced into staying until they do what the doctors tell them to do and how to act before you will be released. I do not recommend you be seen here.
