Now I had to find somewhere close enough to our home for her to go and recover and get physical and occupational therapy that I could trust. We live in Effingham and none of the rehab facilities here have that great of a reputation. She means everything to me and I did not want her neglected. Unfortunately she couldn't leave the hospital until I foundsomewhere for her to go. I was talking with a few people and they mentioned aperion care in st Elmo. Thankfully they were able to take her in. It was th best choice I could have made for her. She was treated lovingly ,respectfully and the nurses and cna's were all wonderful. The therapy department was very encouraging and she seemed to become more confident. She absolutely loves everyone at aperion care. They are like family to us now. My wife went from not being able to move to standing walking and she was 😊 Thank you aperion care and all of your staff. You gave my wife back hope.Friday 29th May 2020
