Archways was awesome. The staff gives you real life experience. They actually do care about the members there and make it a point to do well to help you conquering your fears. They teach you respect for others and encourage you at the same time. If you ever had a problem you could talk to a house manager and they would help and try to fix it. Ryan was amazing and not too harsh or overly coddling . He is a great guy and really check in and makes sure the place is being ran well. Its very clean and you learn so much responsibility. It really is tailored to the individual. Also you dont get a god pushed on you but God is allowed to thanked and emcouraged to pursue there. I even seen some relapses and heard that he gives even second chances to those who are truly serious about recovery. The one in Gilbert Arizona is beautiful loving and I just cant say enough about it. The thing is you have to want to recover and be serious about recovery this is not going to be easy but if you listen and work with Archways and actually listen and obey the rules look forward to a real transformation. I am absolutely appalled this Archways place and the owner are able to stay licensed as a sober living facility. The owner and tenants severely emotionally and mentally abused a family member repeatedly, when complaints were made, the retaliation increased rapidly and resulted in them "kicking out" this family member. This family member followed all of the rules, attended every meeting, was participating in PHP and progressed to IOP and was working nights and days part time to try and make ends meet and better their life. After our family intervened and made a formal complaint to the owner, the owner mandated an AA meeting and insisted that the family member miss his IOP. Later that night the resident went to work all night, went to work his day job and received notice he was being removed from the house. There were pictures taken of our family member while sleeping and not fully dressed...the list goes on and the threats and toxic environment are absolutely unacceptable. If you love your family and want them in safe place, do not house them here at Archways
