Since I got here everything has been good. CNAs and nurses seem to be doing a good job. The ladies from activities are always available to help me. No complaints so far.

Rehabilitation that is top of the line. My father went in not able to stand and after 4 weeks was walking with a walker and touch assistance across a 100 foot long floor. When he first went in I had to hold him and pick him up to transfer from the wheelchair to the car and back. After 4 weeks he was doing the transfers himself without me touching him. The staff took care of his needs. The staff was very accommodating when we wanted to take him out on Sunday. They made sure we had a wheelchair to use and an oxygen tank for the transport to and from our house. The nurses there were very very good at taking care of his medical needs.

First I would like to say thank you to the amazing physical therapy team at Barnert, you guys are amazing, especially Israel and Mercy. Thank you to Rosie, Rebecca and all the young women from activities, I appreciate you and I pray you continue to care for patients and their families, thank you for always inviting and encouraging him to do activities, you guys made his stay at Barnert fun. Thank you to all the nurses and CNAs Michelle, Naijer, Tim, Charlotte, Erica, Doroty, Keysa and Dona just to name a few. Thank you, Thank you for caring for my husband after the rough transition from the hospital to subacute care. I pray God richly blesses you in all you.
