Wow! How disappointing this stay was. Several years ago my stepfather stayed here for several months and we had a wonderful experience with this facility. So when mom recently needed skilled nursing we sent her there. Never again. While the overall nursing staff was kind and polite, I never received a call back from any staff. I had to request the care meeting via phone and with two weeks notice no one showed up except the social worker. My mom was moved twice from her original room and no one thought it was important to call and tell me. I have serious doubts too about her overall PT as she came back with no improvement. They also said she could no longer feed herself and that was not true. First day back at SV she fed herself and several nurses watched her. Bayside just did not have the patience it took to let her eat slow and oversea her eating. Even after I told them of my dissatisfaction with their communication it did not improve.I honestly could not send her or any other family member here again. I am simply telling you my confidence in her care dwindled the longer she was there and I am glad she is out.

Sad when employees are willing to work and on schedule then 2 hrs before shift, you are kicked off that, not once but numerous times. This needs to be investigated......

Bayside is a terrible place to work. I would not recommend to work here at all. Management is very terrible in all departments. They over work their staff until they are burn out. The ceiling is falling in and have leaks. There is definitely a mold problem from the leaks. They definitely have a big bug problem. They don’t treat people equally here. Communication here is terrible between employees and management. This facility needs new management who cares about they employees and residents. I would recommend De Luna or Specialty they are wonderful.

I wouldn’t recommend to work here at all. No one is worried about their job, instead everyone is worried about drama. That’s all that goes on there and honestly is why they cannot keep good workers. The work atmosphere is awful and as a result you can clearly see how it’s affecting the company as a whole.
