I feel very grateful for this treatment facility. I have been to an AA based facility before and it was unsuccessful. From the first class I attended at Bel Aire Recovery Center, I have learned so many new aspects of addiction, science, and skills to help me be successful in my recovery. The counselors and doctors focus on the underlying mental and physical health that led to substance abuse other than simply focusing on the addiction. I believe this philosophy is vital for success in recovery. I truly believe if I implement the knowledge and skills this facility is providing me, along with the post-treatment care and programs, I can overcome my addiction, remain sober, and live a life full of happiness and success that I never thought possible. This place was the most horrific experience for our daughter, and has ruined her. Not only were the other patients rude, disrespectful, and allowed to bully her; her therapist had zero tolerance and compassion for her as well. If we receive any bills from this place, we will dispute them.

From the very start the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The residents were equally welcoming and friendly. All the therapists were wonderful, the groups were informative, interactive and enjoyable. The food was good. The staff and residents at Bel Aire helped me to save myself and I cannot thank them enough. You build relationships there, not just passing through acquaintances.

This is by far the absolute best treatment facility in the state of KS!!! An amazing program that focuses on mind, body, and spiritual healing. Perfectly attuned to exactly what I needed at that point in my life.

after leaving treatment I received my invoice for the prescriptions given to me while being a patient here. On this invoice was several medications that I did not take like antidepressants I refused. There accuracy about the quantity of some of the medications i took were extremely inaccurate as well, One medications in particular that is fairly expensive they charged me a quantity of 8, as where I took this medication twice and then no longer wanted to continue it due to side effects. I just think overall the nurses in this place are EXTREMELY incompetent and unfit based off multiple experiences and interactions I had with them. I really wish I went to a different place where I could do rehabilitation peacefully instead of having to stress while there making sure I received adequate care.

The check process was good and very helpful. The billing not so much. I am extremely disappointed since. I have called over 20 times and no one will call back. This is apart of recovery and can affect patients long term way to not help. ** Update ** Many promises have been made to fix this. Two different employees have admitted they made an error and this should have never happened and been fixed. It has been going on over six months, 9 months since being there, and yet here we are. Guess I will have to turn them into the insurance commission and get a lawyer. Ridiculous it has come to this. Finally fixed! Been almost a year. Great program but to go through this was insane!
