2 weeks ago and this review would have been 5 stars. However the owner decided to fire all of the therapists without warning and became a solo business. While doing this they failed to notify the patient's of any changes and failed to show up for already scheduled appointments. I've been trying to call them for 2 weeks now to ask why they didn't show up to my son's scheduled appointment but still felt the need to charge my insurance for a missed appointment. They refuse to answer the phone or return voicemails. I will never recommend this business to anyone now and will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint.

Wow, where do I begin? Well i had been feeling a bit down lately, more down than what would seem usual, so i decided to try therapy; a friend of mine does it and said i might benefit from just talking to someone. so on my initial first visit, i get there on time (few minutes early). i'm filling out paperwork and i am told the doctor is running a bit behind with her patient, cool no problem. it's about 10:10 that i am wrapping up paperwork and waiting to be seen. while i am waiting, i can hear thru the reception window one of the therapists scolding the receptionist about something she failed to do, stating "this is my livelihood, this is how i put food on the table. Mind you, the window is open and we can hear the whole conversation (glad i wasn't seeing THAT therapist). Those conversations should be done in private and not in front of your patients. And the receptionist's attitude is more or less that she is tired of that place so i feel for her honestly. i finally get called back about 10:18. so we sit and we talk, get some background.. before i know it, my time is up (10:45). She tells me sessions are usually 45minutes and we go to schedule another appointment. WELL looking at the time, i was only in there for 20minutes. Mind you, she was running late with the person before me, but that doesn't mean my time is cut short. Intake (is what they call it) should be 45min to an hour depending on the provider. well i only got 20min. I called the next day because i felt cheated. I beleive i spoke with reception and she agreed that i should have gotten more time, and said she would make note of this on my file so the therapist would make up for it. I thanked her but after those first impressions, i was just not amused and did not have any intentions on going back. so then i have some push and pull with my insurances, trying to figure out i then owe, and what they owe me and yadda yadda; that was annoying in itself. They weren't getting EOBs when i had received mine for a while. i am aware how insurance works, and with the help of my mother who has been doing medical billing for 35yrs, i think i have a pretty solid knowledge-base when it comes to this stuff. They just don't seem like they know what they are doing. OH, and while on a call with them and my insurance, reception stated the billing manager, or whoever, was having documents mailed TO HER HOUSE!! idk what documents - could be EOBs, could have been receipts or something, something with PII... that doesn't seem right to me and i am big on securing my PII, so i expect a doctor's office to be just as secure, if not more secure. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!
