Released from MCDC to this "halfway house". Clean & sober, after a month I held a full time job and a part-time job then was appointed Manager of this place. I did a lot of work and community service for Boyd Andrew then one day after 3 months I slipped, came back to the house drunk but not causing any problems. Immediately the others that were living there called the Counselor of the house, not because they cared about me but because they wanted my job. The councelor arrived and tried to kick me out without my belongings OR $400 in savings, locked in her desk! I eventually got my money and she told me to call her at 8:00 the next morning to discuss my fate. I called at 7:45, 8:00, 8:15, 8:30-10:00am AND NO ANSWER. I was homeless without my belongings and in a world of hurt. Long story short I travelled the western USA for 3 years, homeless and finally got settled down for the last 10 years.
