We at Breakthrough Recovery Outreach believe in holistic healing as the foundation for sustainable recovery. We treat individuals starting at age 13 –throughout adulthood, who are affected by addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges, in Atlanta, GA and beyond. We teach our teens and adults to “Trust in the Process” as we assist them on the journey from hopelessness and self-destruction, to a place of empowerment, purpose, and resilience. Our research-based methods, a team of compassionate and dedicated professionals, 12 step philosophy in combination with our Mind, Body, and Spirit approach, exposes underlying issues that contribute to ongoing cycles of behaviors that erode the fabric of the individual and the family system.
We believe each human is worthy of recovery and deserves freedom from mental health challenges and the disease of addiction. We have witnessed the power of recovery since 2005, and have been privileged to serve individuals and families all over the country and throughout the state of Georgia. We know that recovery is possible and believe that hope lies within the walls of Breakthrough Recovery Outreach. Christopher Miller5 StarIts a difficult time for the entire family when addiction has taken ahold of a child. We asked around to school counselors and other parents for recommendations and a couple of them told us to reach out to Breakthrough. We had no idea what to look for or what questions to ask. The only thing we knew was the addiction was larger than anything we could manage as parents.
Breakthrough helped us navigate what treatment looks like and how the ins coverage works. We were nervous for the first 3 weeks with all the normal stuff that runs through your mind; did we pick the best place for our child? are they charging us the appropriate amount? is our child safe with them? Over time these questions get answered when you realize what an extraordinary group of people are at Breakthrough.
Its a tough environment that they work in. You have people kicking hard addictions. And there is Breakthrough, steadfast and strong, walking sided by side for every step of the journey to recovery. They are the reason that our child is doing as well as he is. This programs offers the steadfast support of helping clients and their loved ones stay on course to long-lasting change, and how to recover quickly if they fall off course. With the support of his Therapist, Caseworker, Office Manager, and Owner of Breakthrough, my son was able to attend college online and he has been on the Dean’s List every quarter with only one year left to finish his 2 year degree in Legal Studies.Wednesday 17th November 2021
