Penny Jones English5 StarI went to this place voluntarily and stayed 5 months. Yes there were rules..duh. But they're simple rules. Based on AA and...so u all know AA is not just about or for Alcoholism. Great place. Structured but that's what us addicts n alcoholics need...IVE RELAPAED ONCE SINCE 2011 WHEN I WAS DONE WITH MY STAY HERE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOHMonday 3rd June 2019
Natalie Ochs5 StarWhen my journey started at BOH in Alamo (2018), I was defeated, hopeless, and ready to die. I had already completed 3 other less rigorous and structured rehab programs without being able to stay sober and clean for a couple months. Thankfully, the staff at BOH accepted me with open arms! During my nine month stay there, I learned to accept being an alcoholic as a blessing instead of a curse. I was taught how to live simply and be grateful for many things I had always taken for granted. Many days at BOH were not easy. A person must be willing to let go of self-will and do anything to be sober and clean. It takes time to feel and experience the miracle of the program! The foundation of recovery and knowledge that I received at BOH saved my life. I have been sober today for over 1 year and have a brand new life! THANK YOU BOH for helping me to become teachable and stay willing! The program works 100% of the time IF you DO THE WORK!Tuesday 17th March 2020
