BrightView’s Columbus East addiction treatment center is not your typical “drug rehab” program. Actually, at BrightView, we don’t even use the term “rehab program” at our treatment centers. That’s because we offer comprehensive addiction treatment programs. We provide outpatient addiction treatment to patients in the Columbus, Ohio area who are struggling with drug abuse or alcohol addiction. We take an evidence-based approach to treating substance use disorders with medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling services, group therapy, and social support services. Additionally, we help those who are struggling with co-occurring disorders. We follow an individualized approach in our treatment options to meet each patient wherever they are. For those who may be seeking drug addiction treatment for something such as opiate addiction, we primarily prescribe buprenorphine, buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone), and naltrexone (Vivitrol). While we do not currently prescribe methadone at our clinics, we have helped many patients concerned about withdrawal symptoms transition from methadone to another medication.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment at BrightView Columbus East

Our intensive outpatient treatment program allows our staff to develop a unique treatment plan that works with each patient’s daily life, so they maintain their regular commitments and individual needs. During treatment, patients participate in group and individual therapy sessions to complement medication-assisted treatment. While medication can be helpful in reducing cravings and easing the withdrawal symptoms that accompany detox, it’s not a cure for addiction. Instead, it’s one part of a comprehensive approach to addiction treatment that treats the whole individual.

Addiction can impact an individual’s physical, mental, and emotional health. Many of those who struggle with addiction have faced issues relating to their responsibilities at work, at home, or in relationships. Our approach to treatment addresses all of the factors that can make recovery difficult. Sustainable, long-term recovery is our goal, and through personalized treatment plans, we support our clients every step of the way.

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most forms of private insurance to make sure that substance abuse treatment is available to anyone who wants to receive our treatment services. You can call us 24 hours a day and a member of our team will be happy to take your call. We offer a toll-free phone number for the convenience of our patients. If you or a loved one are in Columbus, Ohio and need help, please contact us today. We are just a phone call away.

I just transferred to this BrightView today from the one in Newark and I can say with assurance that this is the best place out of the two, the workers here are so caring and do everything within them to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible. I’ve been clean for 3 months now and it feels so good to have people working here who actually care and don’t make me feel down about myself. If you’re looking for the best recovery place in Central Ohio, this is it!

I am 3 years clean, and have been seeking treatment through Brightview East for about 4 months now. The staff obviously cares about each patient. You get what you give here that is for sure. When you are respectful they are also. They will do just about anything to make sure that you are taken care of by the end of the day. So staff wise it's a great place for addiction. Group is just like any group. There is drama, laughs, tears, and "different" personalities. They become like family though. My experience altogether.... is different each time that I have come. Some days I can be in and out in about 2 hours. That is including; medical, counseling, and filling my prescription. Other days I can be there for 4 hours because of bad communication, and unorganized procedures. The process of getting your medication is the same way. Some days it's easy and other days it's as if the staff have to jump through hoops to get your prescription filled. On days that you are scheduled with Brightview just clear your schedule and do NOT be in a hurry to leave. I wish I could say more positive things.
