ANNA ROBERTS5 StarMy dad has lived in independent living at Carnegie for several years and now at Carnegie Rehab for post surgery care. I had my dad transferred out of another rehab facility due to poor care. I'm very impressed with their staff! Appreciate the nursing staff and admin staff. They've all been attentive to his needs and my requests.
I've read all the other reviews and I give thanks that the staff are there and working to take care of our older generation. It's a difficult world that we live in now and trying to meet the demand of skilled care and staffing is very difficult.
Patience and giving grace is important!

Me Myself1 StarTERRIBLE. EMPLOYEES COUGHING ALL OVER MY GRANDPARENT WHILE MASK IS FALLING OFF. SHEETS HAVE NOT BEEN CHANGED IN OVER A WEEK. PEE ON THE FLOOR IS JUST WIPED WITH A TOWEL NO DISINFECTANT. FAMILY MEMBER HAS BEEN USING THE SAME WASHCLOTH FOR A WEEK. IF YOU WANT YOUR LOVED ONE TO GET BETTER THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. EMPLOYEES ARE EXTREMELY RUDE TO PATIENTS. HORRIBLE PLACE. WORKING ON GETTING LOVED ONE OUT OF THIS PLACEWednesday 1st September 2021

Decor is nice but once you are actually in there and start to see how they care for these residents, it's just sad! Take your loved ones elsewhere - ANYWHERE ELSE!!Friday 14th January 2022
Valerie Campbell1 StarIf I could give this place zero stars I would. My 90 year old grandmother has been in there for a few weeks now with a broken back and her care there has been a horrible experience. They leave her laying down to eat, they leave her sitting up too long, the staff acts annoyed when asked any questions and are incredibly rude to her. She is in massive amounts of pain and was never told she had to ask for pain meds so she suffered for over a week to the point where she said she just wanted to die. When my mother called her social worker she said it was a mistake in communication and they will start giving her pain meds.
They don’t attempt to sit my grandmother up to eat, the lay her flat and then she chokes and starts dry heaving and then is terrified to even eat
Fast forward a few weeks my mom has since removed my grandmother from this facility and taken her back to the hospital because it turns out they haven’t been giving her ANY pain meds!!!
The staff here is negligent, they are “short staffed” and they honestly don’t care about their patients comfort, health or well being. This is where nursing careers go to die and it really shows. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!Sunday 29th August 2021
Holly Hoover3 StarVery clean. Attentative to the residents needs. Great compassionate care given overall. Great food. Definitely not comparable to the typical nursing facility. This facility has exceeded all expectations. I recommend it.Friday 11th December 2020
