Extremely rude staff here. I saw the therapist (briefly) at the front desk, when he came through and told the secretary that he wanted to "leave early". He looked like he had not shaved in about two weeks and dressed as if it was casual Friday at a call center (it was a Wednesday). Maybe he had a rough couple of days; maybe that's why he wanted to leave early on a Wednesday?? I did not reschedule. I'd recommend you don't waste the same amount of time I did with this place.

They will not call back. If you are lucky enough to get a person, they never relay the message. So, don't get sick

a few years ago , I was going thru a tough time. dealing with loss, I felt like I had to repeat things at every visit. and I wasn't really listened to. Like she was just doodling on paper or something. so I stopped going. She was very rude. To each there own. I hope not all the people that work there are like that counsler. All it takes is one bad apple to spoil the whole lot.

Extremely disappointed in this place, the only positive review I can leave is It is clean, but thats all .. I spent 1/2 hour filling out paper work, then the nurse practitioner calls me Deb ( I found that very unprofessional ) my Name is Deborah ... The only reason I chose this place was because I could no longer drive to Venice to see my Doctor of 10 years .. I just needed to find a new doctor to write my medications .. I believe this nurse practitioner was out of line trying to change the medication I have been on for 10 years.. I did not like her personality at all, I will never return it was a big waste of my time!!!! Don't waste your's .

If I could give Centerstone 0 stars I would. I have never experienced a more unprofessional medical setting. I called in July asking for an appointment and was told the earliest new patient appointment for a doctor was Sept 12th. Hurricane Irma went through a few days before, so the office left a recording on the 12th saying they were closed. The next day, I called to reschedule. The receptionist said they had an appointment available the following Wednesday with Dr. Hamblin, so I was relieved I didn't have to wait another 2 months. About an hour later, I received a call from the doctor I was supposed to see on Tuesday (Dr. Reuter), letting me know that I could get an appointment with someone that day at a different office location. I called back and made the appointment, which was with Dr. Whitman. The receptionist told me he would cancel the Hamblin appointment since I was seeing Whitman that day. He told me to show up 30 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. I show up with my 5-month old that day, and they tell me there is no paperwork, and they don't know why someone would say there was. I sit 30 extra minutes with my baby. When I see Whitman he says "I don't know why they made this appointment - I'm not taking any new patients." I told him that I was told my new patient info would be transferred to my preferred location. I said that I had an appointment with Hamblin for next Wednesday, but the front desk told me to cancel it in lieu of this appointment. He said "I don't know why they would tell you to do that." I go out to the front desk, and tell them what's happened, and ask if I can still have the Hamblin appointment. After a few minutes of checking, they confirm that my Wednesday appointment has been reset. On Monday, I have a 1:30 appointment with a counselor. I arrive with my baby, and I'm told that my appointment is actually at 2:00. AGAIN no mysterious paperwork to fill out. I ask them to confirm my appointment time for Wednesday, since I have now been told the wrong time twice. She tells me my appointment is scheduled for 12:45 (I was told 12). I sit for 40 minutes before my name is called (so she was still 10 minutes late). On Tuesday, I receive a reminder call about my appointment on Wednesday, only this time it says the appointment is at 12:15 (not 12:45). At this point, I have heard 3 different times for this appointment, and I was not going to sit an extra 30 minutes for a 3rd time. I called Centerstone to get written confirmation of the time. I waited 10 minutes for someone to pick up and no one did. Eventually, I called back so I could leave a message. I have never experienced such a lack of communication from a medical practice. I wouldn't trust any counselor or doctor that would work at such a trainwreck of a place. ***9/26/17: I'd also like to add they billed my insurance $316 for the Whitman appt. He said he wasn't taking new patients and didn't understand why they made the appt. In what universe is this claim justified?
