Staff is kind and so helpful. I went in for opiate detox and my stay was better than I could have hoped. If you can go to chestnut - you should. The program is what YOU make it, as long as you truly want help- you will receive just that. I have zero regrets for choosing them for my detox & recovery.

I needed the services of Chestnut Crisis unit for a family member. I was completely blown away by how compassionate and caring these folks are. When your loved one is dealing with addiction and mental health issues, it is very stressful for the family. When I initially called, I was having a really hard time showing my family member tough love. I was reassured that I was doing the right thing and continuing to enable him was not helpful or healthy. Unfortunately, my family member relapsed and needed these services again. It is very reassuring to know that help is available even if they don't get it right the first time. I wish other addiction and mental health facilities were as client driven as Chestnut. To the workers of Chestnut, I thank you for giving your time and compassion to those who are most vulnerable and need it the most.

Been going here for a year now and been here like 4 times between mines and my daughters appointment abs all I can say is I’ve never seen the lobby packed and they get u in and out in a very timely manner. The staff in the back is very friendly and easy to talk to, the man in the front is very kind and friendly also. I recommend

If you call the SECOND they open and are lucky enough for them not to be filled up, you’ll get a phone appt. scheduled for a couple weeks later that takes a MINIMUM of 2 hours to complete. Then you’ll have to do another 6 appointments after that, with each one separated by at least a week and THEN and ONLY then, you might get lucky enough to get something done(I don’t even know THAT for sure though as I’ve never actually gotten that far). More likely though, you’ll just call and they’ll tell you they’re “full” and to try back in a week or so at a precise time, at which time they will repeat the same thing, and you’ll realize just how useless(and disheartened haha)these people truly are and you’ll direct your efforts elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed. If I could give 0 stars I would. I have tried for nearly 2 weeks and left almost a dozen messages trying to schedule an appointment. My calls were finally returned on the day my next shot was due only to find out that they will not work with me or my work schedule, even though I get off work at 2:30 in the afternoon. It's hard enough for someone like myself to ask for help, but to be told that there is no way they can or will help is very disappointing.I wasn't even offered an apology or explanation as to why my calls were never returned. I could have used those 2 weeks to find a different medical center that could help. Now instead of continuing my program I have to start it all over. SMDH
