What a terrible experience we've had with this place. We cannot get anyone to communicate with us about my father-in-law's care. Most of the time we call, no one answers the phone at all and it just hangs up. There is no option to leave voice mail, no direct line to any nurse's station or caregiver. We have not spoken to an actual doctor in several weeks. My FIL's room assignment keeps changing and we are not notified. He has missed doctor's appointments outside of the facility and we have only found out when notified by the outside doctor that he failed to show up. They are running this place on a skeleton staff and it shows at every level. We are horrified about the conditions and treatment that my FIL is (not) receiving and are looking to transfer him out of this place as soon as possible. If you have a choice on where you put your loved one (we didn't), do not put them here. You will be constantly worried about them and kept entirely out of the loop of their care.

This place is run like hospice. The took terrible care of my mother. If you don't have the staff to take care of your patients properly maybe you should not accept anymore patients. This place should be shut down.

1st the Cheyenne Mountain Center subjects you to ongoing covid test everyday just about, then it's TB test 2 of them the 2nd time they didn't even bother to check the results , there is matter of inconsistent wound care , then meals always late and the portions are not even fit for a child I was constantly hungry , I was there about 3 weeks not once I was offered a shower I had to bath my self in the sink , then if you go out in hallways it stinks no air circulation at all it's no wonder people get sick I suggest if need to go to a nursing home / rehab center go somewhere else below is pic of a typical meal not much pt2 then a police officer interview me about the complaints I made about the center , is this a form of intimidation ? then I'm told them I'm going home against AMA against medical advice , because my health care coverage would cover only 20 days I didn't have any options , then to make matters worse I had no way of getting home they center couldn't even give me lift home, why nobody was there screw this place I will never go back there again

This facility is great. The staff works very hard to insure that everyone is safe and properly cared for.
