About Claymont CTC Methadone Clinic in Claymont, DE

Located in Claymont, Delaware, Claymont Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to adults age 18 and older of all genders. Not only do our patients receive the support of medications such as methadone, but they also participate in individual therapy as part of medication-assisted treatment.

MAT is scientifically proven to lead to better treatment outcomes. Most methadone clinics offer one kind of medication to help patients stop using opioids. At Claymont CTC, we use both methadone and buprenorphine to reduce the distressing pain and cravings associated with opioid withdrawal.

Our compassionate team of professionals works closely with every patient at Claymont CTC to identify the most beneficial medication dosage levels and therapeutic interventions for them.

Therapies Used at Our Claymont Methadone Clinic

At Claymont Comprehensive Treatment Center, we offer more support than you would find at other methadone clinics, with patients taking part in individual therapy in addition to receiving medications such as methadone to help them stop their opioid use.

Meeting one-on-one with a counselor gives our patients the opportunity to work through the experiences and concerns that may have led them to start using opioids in the first place. The opioid addiction treatment we provide empowers our patients to begin processing the painful emotions or traumatic events that may have kept them from recovery.

Our experienced counselors work with every patient to provide them with healthier coping tools to prevent relapse after treatment. The compassionate, professional care we offer each patient helps them regain control of their life and successfully transition back to their home and community.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Claymont, DE

No two people have identical experiences with opioid addiction, which is why it is crucial to find a methadone clinic that can personalize your plan of care to reflect your unique situation. The caring staff at Claymont Comprehensive Treatment Center respects the diverse backgrounds that influence each of our patient’s experiences with opioid addiction.

Because recovery is such an individual process, we take the time to learn about every patient’s medical history and the way opioid addiction has affected their life. We work closely with each person to identify the medication and therapeutic interventions that will lead to the best outcomes for that patient.

We offer a proven combination of individual therapy and medication such as methadone to help our patients set the groundwork for lifelong recovery.

Absolutely horrible money grab facility. They do not care about the patients at all. All they care about is money. Anyone who says otherwise is crazy. There's maybe one nurse and counselor who care. The head nurse is extremely rude and disrespectful. And this is coming from someone whose been a patient with take homes and never been kicked out. Going there was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made just go to inpatient treatment instead.

It's all about your seriousness in getting help. All of these negative reviews are from people who got kicked out or in trouble because of non compliance. I wish they could get those reviews deleted. Truth is, yes it's a business, but they employ very helpful people that will work with you if you also put the work in. I never had a problem, only once when I couldn't pay my balance on time. The price to dose is very high, but cheaper than getting high on the streets. I hear they will soon start taking Medicaid. If you have insurance, go elsewhere. If you don't, start here... Then transfer when you can. They let you get away with more here, but I will say 100% that you WILL be better off here than in the streets. Live your life! Don't let life live you.

Its a small vacillaty which gets so incredibly busy and crowded if you try and get your dose near closing time (1230pm weekdays). If you go to get your take home dose on Saturday get there before 745am and there will be no wait. Any later and it's a shoulder to shoulder 45min wait. To sign up to be on the clinic it takes 4h. If you don't pay your balance you will be put on a 21day taper which is so much better than others which put you on a 10day taper.
