Mom Grossman1 StarGo visit this "rooming house". This is not a 1/2 house program like North Cottage. There is no transportation to many meetings. Rent is $170 a week and then $10 demanded for use of a/c. rooms are old small, cluttered. 1 TV 22 guys in house. Constant turnover. no decent sobriety. Run by a 30 year old and her boyfriend who's got 4 months sober who she puts in charge of running this place. Very overprices. Web site lies You relapse you go to detox for a few days and come back. 1 ancient TV available. No one one the premises 24/7. Up to the guys who are out of detoxes, out of jail, on probation to run house. House manager Eileen 30 years old with 2 small kids put her baby daddy with less than 6 months sober in charge of issues that arise. The sick enabling the sick. Eileen can always be found there on Friday because that's when your rent is due. Never pay ahead because her website states if you are thrown out or leave she can keep whatever you've paid ahead. YOU WANT TO GO THERE VISIT THE PLACE AND TALK TO THOSE WHO LIVE THERE. I give it a 1 star for putting a roof over someone's head for $680 a month plus $20 a month for "cleaning supplies", no food, no a/c. Many rooms don't have locks because Eileen just can't seem to get around to taking care of things because she just opened a woman's house. Very sad that there is only one decent program in this area to get sober, get supervision and stay sober and that is NORTH COTTAGE in Norton. Check out and compare websites. Oh if you are good Eileen takes you out bowling but can't get you transporation to an appt or meeting. You want an honest review here it is. Just pop by and visit!Sunday 30th October 2016
