Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center Staff Members from all departments have provided years of quality care for my mother. We were both quite familiar with the facility and its offerings when mom's medical issues became too overwhelming to manage from home. She had numerous physical and occupational therapy outpatient visits and eight short-term care admissions prior to becoming a full-time resident. Given her ongoing need for skilled nursing care, there was no choice but to make an extremely heartbreaking decision and opt for long-term placement. While that choice was clearly a tough one, our prior interactions with Clifton Staff Members made the decision of where to place mom a very easy one. Clifton Department Members have been responsive to her physical, medical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. We have been informed and consulted on all matters relative to mom's care. Our family has been treated with courtesy and respect. Of course, there is "No place like home." However, mom has settled in well. I do believe she feels comfortable with and loved by our extended Clifton Family. Clifton Rehabilitative Nursing Center was the right choice for us.

My mother has been a patient at Clifton Rehabilitation for over a month. She was admitted following a 15-day hospital stay for a serious infection. The transfer from the hospital to Clifton was seamless. The admissions department promptly returned the hospital’s phone call. Staff at the hospital even commented on how fast and friendly the staff at Clifton was. From the moment my mother arrived at Clifton, she was treated with compassion and care. All the nurses, CNAs and staff members have been friendly and have provided exceptional care. The administration is present and involved. You can tell that everyone working at Clifton enjoys their job and values the patients and their families. The PT/OT staff is phenomenal. They designed a plan to get my mother up, moving, and feeling confident again. Each week they set realistic, attainable goals, but at the same time, pushed my mother (safely) out of her comfort zone in order in increase progress. My mother was very happy with the food she received. Clifton offers a main daily meal, and several alternate choices if the patient does not like what is being served. Dietary/Food services is accommodating and works with the patient to make sure that they are receiving both their recommended diet and choices that they like. The building is clean and well maintained. I am so thankful for everything that the amazing staff at Clifton has done to get my mother back on her feet. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful facility.

As an employee of Clifton, I have witnessed the extraordinary care shown to our clients. I hear many times throughout someone’s stay, “all the employees are so nice”. I have seen clients compromised physically and unable to perform their activities of daily living leave on there own will and being physically better than they’ve been in a long time. Plus, they had fun doing it. If you are considering or in need of a short term rehab stay, I would strongly recommend Clifton Rehabilitation Center. David.
