Do not bring your child here. What they don't tell you until you get there is that your child can leave whenever they want they just have to ask and staff waves their badge in front of the door and lets them out. It's one of the worst neighborhoods in Worcester. Not only is it unsecure the staff broke my son's confidentiality when face timing her husband. I guess she thought it was a good idea to let them talk.

Updating my review on MYR. My son is presently there for the second time. The first time he attended a few months ago I was not happy with the lack of communication they had with families. My son was not too crazy about the place either, but that’s okay. We turned to MYR again after my sons SUD was out of control. He turned 18 and we told him he cannot live with us anymore unless he was working on sobriety. It took about 5-7 days for him to get accepted into a dual residential program, so MYR was a place he can detox, sober up and be safe until we got him into a dual. He wanted to leave when he first got there and was free to, they obviously make him talk to a therapist and try everything to get them to stay. I told my son if he leaves we are not picking him up, he would essentially be homeless without phone or money. He decided to stay. It is nice that these type of places exist. They so get to go outside and play basketball. No visitors. They will quarantine for at least 12 hours when they first get their untilCovid test comes back, but have access to a DVD player so they can watch movies. I wish I had more to say.
