I can now be a good person with love and compassion who is a model of the right thing instead of the other way around. Thomas Powell5 StarPeople are ultimately responsible for their own recovery. They only give the tools and information. I went into treatment bitter and somewhat resentful for needing to make changes and by the end of my stay there I had finally found the strength to do what was right for my recovery. The counselors and staff were all generous with their time and offered their support with anything I needed. Not to mention the accommodations and the food were amazing.
