The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of Tracy and Antoinette. Both of them understand what it's like to have an addiction problem. They both have compassion and people skills. However that being said... Rhonda has no right working there. She lacks compassion, empathy, and understanding. She may have a degree...but she treats people very cold like. I spent a week in the hospital because I almost died. I was going through a hard time and relapsed. When she showed up to the hospital three or four days later she acted very smug and cold. She told me that she was taking me off suboxone due to the fact that I relapsed. This was the first time in two years that I had a relapse. Anyone that knows anything about anything as it pertains to addiction knows the worst thing you can do to someone is just cut them off suboxone like that. It will cause more harm in the long run. Yet she doesn't care. She does not have the right temperament and/or personality to be doing this type of work. I'm not the only one to say this either. C.O.R.E. is a good organization that does help people. However having individuals like Rhonda around only sets the place back. She is toxic to the entire organization. Just because you have a piece of paper saying you're qualified doesn't mean you are in my book. How can you help people when you are cold hearted and non empathetic?? It's time to get rid of Rhonda.

Don’t waste your time here or anywhere else in Steubenville!! Bright View in Canton and Dover understand that in order to save people’s lives from drugs they have to make it as fast and easy as possible for patients to get their suboxone/naloxone. I don’t exactly know where to start or who to contact to request that BrightView open a new clinic, so I’ll start here. I am from Steubenville, Ohio and the Operators of the few Addiction Treatment Centers that exist do not have even the slightest idea that by making people jump through hoops to get their medicine, they are effectively signing their death certificates. One of my favorite Counselors at BrightView in Canton said to me that it’s not a big deal if I have to take Suboxone for the rest of my life- as long as I am sober and constantly striving for a better life. If I’m always going to be an addict, shouldn’t I always have quick and reliable access to my medication? The existing clinics in Steubenville are a joke. If you miss group for even a good reason, they will actually cut your daily intake of suboxone IN HALF!! Don’t even get me started with the Drug Rehabilitation at Trinity East.. speaking of jumping through hoops- the nurses and staff will blatantly and consistently lie to you about being able to see the Doctor just so you’ll keep coming to their ridiculously boring groups so that they can make money off of your attendance. After THREE straight weeks of doing everything they asked while withdrawing from Suboxone, the STILL kept coming up with reasons why I haven’t seen a Doctor. One of the male nurses on the unit actually told me that I “couldn’t demand to see a Doctor.” I said, “What happens if I leave here and OD? Whose fault is it if I die?” So, as I was walking home that day, I called my CareSource Transportation, set up a ride to BrightView in Canton for the very next day. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. That next day, though it was an hour and a half ride to Canton, they got my information, I signed a few things and was given my daily dose of Suboxone. And oh- To the sad excuse of a nurse at Trinity East, I GOT TO SEE A DOCTOR the first day I was there, but no, I didn’t have to DEMAND to see a doctor at BrightView because they know what they are doing- saving lives, not turning people away so that they may be dead within a week. So, PLEASE BrightView, Open a clinic in Steubenville. They NEED your compassion and willingness to consistently leave your patients better than you found them. Trinity is essentially killing people and getting away with it. Anyone in Steubenville area in search of a good clinic, if you have Medicaid, set up a ride to BrightView in Canton or Dover- the drive is worth it, trust me.
