Cornerstone Wellness Center is a private association of licensed professional therapists, and a psychologist who offer hope and help to couples, families and individuals (children, adolescents, adults) by providing assessment, therapy, and referral services to those experiencing a wide variety of personal challenges or difficulties.We are offering sessions by video or phone call and still accepting new clients. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I have received a BA in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and earned a Master of Social Work degree from St. Ambrose University in 2007. I have experience in child welfare, community mental health, correctional, and school settings. I primarily work with adults and children age 10 and up. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, anger and stress management, grief, and behavioral disorders in children. My name is Lindsay Olson and it is my intent to offer you a comfortable, safe place where you can feel heard and understood. I work with individuals, couples, and families on a variety of issues such as anxiety, depression, communication difficulties, adolescent concerns, and many more topics. As a Christian and a practicing Catholic, I value spirituality as an important part of life. My background includes attending trainings through the Catholic Church focused on dealing with spiritual battles. Receiving her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Loras College in 2014, Eleisha holds experience with children, adolescents, and adults with mental health issues. Eleisha uses a holistic approach when working with individuals as all the components of one's life are interrelated. Eleisha's areas of specialty include trauma, anxiety, sexual identity issues, depression, adolescent behavioral issues, and women's emotional health. Eleisha serves as a guide in helping people navigate their complex worlds to achieve a happier and more productive life. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. In 2003, I earned a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa. In addition to psychology, I also studied fine and graphic arts. In 2011, I earned a Master's degree in Counseling from Western Illinois University. I work with children ages 10 and under, specializing in utilizing play, sand tray, and art therapy techniques I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Iowa and have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Art, and a strong background in biological sciences. For example, I have undergraduate classes in physiology, anatomy, chemistry, psychopharmacology, and nutrition. I completed my Master's in Social Work from Washington University and began working in Clinton in 1991. Graduate classes included management, stress, substance abuse, and family therapy. I have specialized training in Play Therapy and childhood sexual abuse. I have special interests in stress and wellness, Depression, Anxiety and spiritual issues. Life is full of challenges. Sometimes one comes along that sets us back and we may struggle with ways to see a positive future. A decision to see a counselor is an action that can enable us to share the burden, have a sounding board, and gain understanding and insights into those issues troubling us. She is licensed as a Mental Health Counselor and serves clients with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship and familial issues, behavioral concerns, trauma, and stress management issues; she has past training in play therapy and specifically sand tray therapy techniques. Megan is providing services for older children to adults, ages 10 and up.
