Assessment When it comes to understanding the need for substance use disorder intervention, CREATE provides a comprehensive substance use disorder assessment. Assessments are completed by Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) at all locations. Assessments are the first step to access substance use disorder services. These services are designed for you to look at the current factors of substance usage that may result in negative and life impacting consequences. Medication Assisted Treatment Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is helpful in the early stages of your recovery plan. MAT assists with detoxification and craving symptoms. This physician-monitored treatment is designed to help stabilize and return to a more normal functioning state so other substance use disorder services are more effective. Click here to learn more about MAT and recovery. Locations include: Minneapolis. OPTIONS The OPTIONS program is a 6 session, 15 hour, low-intensity outpatient program (level 1.0). Participants are assisted with assessing personal consequences of their chemical use, as means of making better choices. Locations include: telehealth. Preventative Education Classes CREATE provides education programs for individuals who are beginning to question their substance usage patterns and the consequences that follow. These classes are available to first time, low level and DUI offenders. Classes are accepted by MN Department of Public Safety and all County Corrections. Click here to learn more.
