I don't know about this location specifically but I've been trying to warn people about the facility I went to in delray beach (they don't have their google page anymore). I came back from their facility and tested positive for COVID almost a week ago. Had a friend still coming there and there has been no change in procedure and no notification about it whatsoever. Other than that, I give this place -100/10 because the staff treats us like bugs not worth helping. Good luck trying to get help from anyone, you'll be walking away with more problems and damage than anything.

My daughter entered the Delray Beach facility to detox from alcohol. She received no stabilization treatment during the worst part of her withdrawal. She was unable to eat the disgusting food that was served and was nauseous and vomiting the whole time she was there. She checked herself out yesterday morning and signed paperwork that stated she would be able to retrieve her belongings in 24 hours. Now they are saying Wednesday is pick up day, as if the patients and their belongings are trash. They are holding her cell phone, which she needs because she has a daughter in school and they need to contact her in an emergency. They are also holding her ID, which she is required to have on her person, according to Florida law. This facility has such bad ratings, they removed their webpage, so you can only leave a review here. I have never heard of a mental health or substance abuse facility holding a patient’s belongings. For what purpose? This practice is demeaning and an abuse of authority. My attorney is having letters sent to SAMH and the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Commission, to prompt an audit and inspection of this facility and hopefully get their licensure revoked. This place is awful, do not send or consent to your loved ones being admitted here. I was on hold for about an hour in total, trying to be put in contact with the facility directors, Stephanie Thompson and/or Kathy Lowe. The people that work here are disrespectful to the clients and display a lack of concern for them. This is supposed to be a place to help people with addiction and dual diagnosis, instead it’s more like the setting of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”, with a whole staff of Nurse Rachets. HORRIBLE.!
