About East Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center in Portland, OR

Located in Portland, Oregon, East Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center is a Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) that offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older of all genders who are struggling with opioid addiction.

A great deal of scientific research has indicated that MAT is both a safe and effective way to help people successfully achieve lasting recovery from opioid addiction. Some methadone clinics provide one type of medication as part of their MAT programming, but our Portland center offers a variety of options, including Suboxone, buprenorphine, and methadone.

Our expert staff understands that these medications can have very different effects on specific people. By administering a thorough assessment prior to admission, we can make sure that we prescribe the right medication for you to experience the most optimal outcome.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Portland, OR

Everyone who struggles with an addiction to opioids has a different experience, so it’s important for each patient to have a personalized treatment plan. Our Portland methadone clinic makes sure that we meet your mental and emotional needs as well as your physical ones.

Studies show that in order for a MAT program to be most effective, it needs to have a therapeutic component. At our center, we provide both individual and group counseling so that you can gain more insight into what led you to opioid abuse before getting on the road to recovery.

Individual therapy is your opportunity to talk privately with a trained professional about your struggles and your goals during and after MAT. Group sessions give you a chance to interact with fellow members of the recovery community and rally around one another as you work toward improving your health.

What to Expect at East Portland CTC Methadone Clinic

The goal of every compassionate professional at our center is to put each patient we treat on the path to better health and well-being. That begins with our admissions process.

We’ll schedule an intake appointment with you that lets the staff at our Portland location ask questions about your medical background as well as your treatment history. You’ll then engage in a series of simple tests that will allow us to determine the personalized care plan that will serve as your guide during your time in treatment.

There are methadone clinics out there that will administer medication and offer little other assistance on your journey. We believe in working with you to help you resist the urge to use opioids again and to help you find the better self you may have lost along the way.

Contact us today if you or a loved one is struggling with opioid use disorder. Our Portland addiction treatment center is ready when you are.

This is a fantastic clinic. I have been a patient here for close to 2 years now. I've never had an issue of any kind. I was told by others that sometimes they intentionally say your UA was alcohol positive to take away your take-outs, and oddly this had happened to me. I told them there's no way I was positive, so they asked me to schedule a blood draw in another lab to make sure. I did that right away, the results came back negative and I didn't lose my take outs. I don't think they do any of this intentionally, it's just their equipment. As long as you follow up, you'll be fine. At the moment, I go to the clinic once a month. My counselor is solid man, and I couldn't be happier with the clinic. I gave four stars mostly due to the patients, as I was approached twice and asked whether I had drugs on me to sell but it was nothing I couldn't deal with. The other reason is clinics location. It's not accessible via TriMET but they do have a shuttle to and from a transit center.

This is a good Clinic with opiate options and many different classes for many different Facts of Life. Also, some great folks is just unfortunate the state guideline makes the rules that has to be followed. So for some of the employees it seem like they care more about the job than the people that they help, and There's a FEW Really Helpful, Great at Listening, and Truly Try to Understanding what You are going THROUGH. JUST REMEMBER THIS IS SUPPOSED TO HELP YOU GET OFF OF WHAT YOU'RE ON, NOT REPLACE IT BUT TAKE YOUR TIME.... Elana R.
