Tara Fasano5 StarEmbassy of Ivy Hill is one of the cleanest facilities in the area. The facility does not smell and the floors are always shining. The staff is always happy to help and the administrator is great. I have not tasted the food but i have heard very good things, which is always a plus. Highly recommend this facility!Tuesday 5th April 2022
Trayce Robinson1 StarTHEY ONLY WANT $$$$ My Grandfather passed and when I requested his balance be forwarded to Funeral Home - NONE!! Quoted they charge him full rent for February although he was only there until February 6, 2022! I requested them to pro-rate, especially since Medicaid paid $9,600 for February - They said THEY COULDN'T PRO-RATE....Unfortunately, we are in need of those funds to properly bury our Grandfather....Do they care No!! Theere response, we take their whole check (in our case, $1800) and give the residence $45 and that's ALL WE HAVE FOR YOU!! HORRIFICTuesday 1st March 2022
Lori Gartner1 StarMy father was there during covid so nothing was easy but you also don't have to be rude. It was a horrible experienceWednesday 25th August 2021
John Walker1 StarMy 101 year old grandmother was admitted on 05-01-2021, She was transferred out on 09-20-2021. During several visits I notice her feet and legs kept swelling, I was told they would address the problem. The next visit her feet were swollen three times the normal size. I could smell her dirty feet through my mask.... I was told the Doctor only visits this facility once a week and her feet sweats causing the odor. My Grandmother can't walk, she's in a WHEELCHAIR!!!! SHE OUTTA THERE!!!!!!Wednesday 22nd September 2021
An Nicole1 StarDo not send your loved ones here! I had to get my mom discharged after being there 1 1/2 days out of 2 weeks because she was not given pain medication right after her knee surgery! Unbelievable. Both the hospital and the surgeons office faxed my moms medication schedule over and Ivy Hill claimed they never got it. Only said they got it once my mom was packed up and ready to leave. She's also diabetic and told everyone there she cannot eat or drink carbs/sugary foods. Every meal was either waffles, pasta, juice & her sugars got up over 400 there because no one cared to listen to her or the dietians suggestions. The stress and worry that my mom and my family had to go through after such a major surgery is not worth it! Please find somewhere else for your loved ones.Sunday 1st August 2021
