Our model has no hidden fees, and we ensure your pathway of care is affordable and predictable. Treating Opioid Use Disorder is our area of expertise and the most specialized part of our practice. We offer confidential, personalized treatment of addiction to opioid prescription pills and heroin. Our office is private yet affordable, with compassionate Suboxone® (buprenorphine/naloxone) licensed physicians who listen carefully and provide the highest quality care. Evolve Addiction Medicine is focused on long term recovery. We are discreet and protect your privacy. During your time in our program, we help you gain the necessary tools to live free of drugs. We offer in-office treatment for alcohol addiction with FDA approved medications. We also offer outpatient medical detoxification from alcohol in the privacy of our office, your home, hotel room, or the place of your choosing. Alcohol withdrawal is a dangerous medical condition and should be taken seriously. Evolve Addiction Medicine can help. We offer outpatient medical detoxification from benzodiazepines such as Xanax® (alprazolam), Valium®(diazepam), Ativan® (lorazepam), and Klonopin® (clonazepam). Successful benzodiazepine detoxification requires a slow taper over several months with regular office visits and close follow-up. Detoxification from benzodiazepines is difficult, but possible, and Evolve Addiction Medicine can help. Similar to Cocaine addiction, methamphetamine addiction is a difficult but treatable problem. There are medications available to treat methamphetamine addiction, in combination with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Call to schedule your appointment today, and let the experts at Evolve Addiction Medicine help. We treat nicotine addiction with Chantix® (Varenicline), a medication that helps with nicotine craving and withdrawal symptoms. It also blocks the effects of nicotine from tobacco. If you smoke while taking Varenicline, the medication lowers the sense of satisfaction you get from smoking, improving the odds you will quit. Varenicline does not contain nicotine and does not help you quit smoking in the same way nicotine replacement therapy does. You start taking Varenicline one week before quitting and is taken for a total of 12 weeks. A second 12-week cycle may be completed if necessary. We prescribe Varenicline to help you quit smoking. It is not available over-the-counter. Varenicline has not been studied in children and is not recommended to help them quit smoking. Varenicline doubles or triples the chances of quitting smoking. It has been shown to work better than other medications for smoking cessation. MEDICALLY SUPERVISED WITHDRAWAL: We offer outpatient medical detoxification in the privacy of our office. Our physicians work with you privately, formulating a taper schedule that’s completed over the course of weeks, a week, or a weekend, weaning patients off the substance of abuse. This allows patients to avoid admission to an inpatient detox facility and provides a more personalized, less public experience. Private detoxification is evaluated on a case by case basis. Please call to discuss rates and treatment options. Experts in detoxifying patients from alcohol, heroin, and prescription pain killers such as Oxycontin®, Percocet®, Norco®, Vicodin®, Lortab®, morphine, Dilaudid®, and Ultram®. We also provide outpatient medical detoxification for Xanax® (alprazolam), Ativan® (lorazepam), Klonopin® (clonazepam), Valium® (diazepam), phenobarbital, and Ambien®. We offer three prescription medications for the prevention of relapse on opioids and alcohol: Revia® (naltrexone), Antabuse® (disulfiram), and Campral® (acamprosate). Naltrexone prevents and blocks cravings for opioids and alcohol. It also blocks the pleasurable effects or rewards experienced when opioids and alcohol are consumed. Antabuse® works through negative feedback causing headaches, facial flushing, tachycardia, nausea, and sometimes vomiting when alcohol is consumed. Campral® reduces alcohol cravings. Superior to other methods of detoxification (such as social detoxification) because it decreases the risk of medical complications of withdrawal and provides more comfort to patients as they go through the withdrawal process. Our physicians offer outpatient medical detoxification from alcohol in the privacy of our office, your home, hotel room, or the place of your choosing.

I would highly recommend coming to Evolve. From the office staff to the doctors, everyone was incredibly kind and great to work with. They are the best, most caring doctors I have ever met that truly understand what you are going through and want to help. Life changing.

Evolve saved my life, and I am not exaggerating at all! I have been an alcoholic for 10 years, drinking a bottle of whiskey every night. I had wanted to quit for so long, but the addiction took over every night. It was such a struggle until I found Evolve! I was completely embarrassed and humiliated at my first visit but quickly felt how caring and understanding Dr. Anderson and his staff are! Not once have I ever felt judged. I decided to do the Vivitrol shot, and since my first visit, I have been alcohol-free with little to no cravings at all! If you know anyone or if you yourself are struggling, please don't hesitate to make an appointment. They are absolutely amazing and can help you change your life too!!

Great staff & docs that are genuine & treat you with respect. It's also nice that they don't book a bunch of patients all at the same time like other doctors offices. As soon as you go in you get helped right away.

This place has saved my life. They have the best doctors that know what they are doing and how to take care mentally ill and people with substance abuse. I have gone 5 years with out any mental health issues and substance abuse in over 5 years. I recommend this place out of ANY OTHER PLACES IN UTAH. Dr. Matthew Andersen and Dr. Nick Greenwood are the best.
