They were nice and accepting, but they do not offer any flexibility for anyone who sleeps during the day. They'd expect me to answer calls at like 2pm and wouldn't even try to call back or reschedule anything. 99% of what they tried to teach me didn't work at all for my circumstances. That's what I get for expecting free therapy to actually work I guess.

Family guidance center introduced themselves to my alcoholic husband in 2017. Apparently they were concerned that he had too many medical emergencies through Medicaid. At first, they seemed helpful. But within a year, it was apparent to me that they were just billing Medicaid for they're services. They're counselors, managed by Raven, would come to our house, even while my husband was incoherent, and would tell him that it's ok, that they expected him to "slip", even while it was apparent that he was physically, mentally and verbally abusing me. All the while they changed his doctors and prescriptions to they're facility. Even now they have him going to 'counseling' services 4 times a week, he comes home drunk. They are still billing these services to Medicaid! I would NOT recommend these services to anyone! Especially if you are trying to find sincere medical help to your loved ones. I can honestly say, that my husband was better off before he started working with family guidance center! Another RIP-OFF off that's being funded by our government! Thank you so much guidance center!

Been coming on and off since the age of 9, and I am now 21. When a therapist and I didn’t click, they did their best to match me up with someone more suitable and that worked wonders. I am a ‘high functioning aspie’ with Tourette’s syndrome and psychosomatic seizures, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for treatment- they really are a home away from home

This is place is pretty cool. I come here to see the case manager and psychiatrist. This location is bigger than the one in Cameron, where I live. They have a relationship with Genoa Medical, which has a pharmacy on the lower floor or second floor or first floor or whatever. The floor system here is confusing.
