The Foundation for Life is a fully operational residential facility for men battling addictions to drugs and alcohol. The twelve step program of recovery, Christian counseling, and our faith in God are what makes this program work. The Foundation is a twelve month residential transitional program.
The Foundation for Life's philosophy is to provide a Christian environment in which men suffering from drug and alcohol addictions, discover a new life - drug and alcohol free. Our four-fold treatment approach: Physical, Mental, Spiritual, and Emotional, bring a balanced whole to the individual. We have developed a warm, confidential, and safe environment renowned in the Central Florida area for helping men and their families reach their goals.
Our purpose is to provide a spiritually grounded, residential program of recovery through long term care and commitment, so that men can regain their strengths, rebuild family relationships, rejoin the community and strengthen their relationship with God. The journey to recovery from drugs and alcohol, is a long and often difficult road to travel. No matter how hard others have tried to disprove it, there is always one common denominator on the path to recovery. And that is God. For some of us, the road to spirituality was long and tedious. But in the end, the awakening far outweighs the tribulations along the way. Without our faith in God and our fellow man, we cannot remain drug and alcohol free.

For an update. 9/15/18 I graduated this program and gain my life back. It works if you work it. The Foundation for Life helped me get myself back on my feet and back to my family. I'm forever grateful to this program.Saturday 15th September 2018
Charles Taylor5 StarMy own experience! I came here in 2010 my life changed when the guy took me off the streets! My life changed from a guy that didn't know me took me into his house for two weeks to get me in here to the foundation my life change as I walk through the door my life changed as I walked into AA meeting my life change cuz I heard my story and ask that guy to be my sponsor. I was Hopeless irritable and discontent. I did what was asked of me! Some simple rules to go by Life on life's terms. I got this and held on tight,the seed was planted many many years ago! Due to my grandma and grandpa my mom and dad. I chose a different and wrong path to go down for 23 years.using alcohol and drugs it took that first cigarette it took that first joint. and it led to dig deeper and darker place.It took some simple 12 steps and sponsor and become a Christian once again! Re-baptized reclaimed be a productive member of society! As of 2019,I have nine years,not to boast in me, but boast in Jusus and God who made us,The holy spirit is in this place and in the business of saving lives and to change lives and you build a support group. This is a very peaceful place here. and ending away from drugs and alcohol through some simple 12 steps. it's an elite bunch of guys here! if very few guys can get in here! 20 guys is what we have and many other guys are chomping at the bit to get in here! there are other programs!? but this one tops them all and is at the top of the list as far as in jail at 33rd choices program. We are so thankful for the men and our church that design this program and keep it going! we are Christ centered/ Church related connection! That's why we're called Ministries in our name.we believe in the Holy Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit-now& always be and always will! Sometimes of what we have in side! we want to scream on mountain tops! these are one of those times! I am truly grateful because I have so many that got me into this place made sure that I got into this place and to keep connected, have a team that you can call on and I can call on them. The Holy Spirit will guiding you in this place it's undeniable that you're going to get Jesus (bottom line)back into your life! (Quotes)"If Jesus ain't in it don't be in it!" "Blessed is the man that understands patience and forgiveness!"Those are sayings of two of the best men I've come to know in my life of 2019!Need I say more? The chapter is not closed until we are all called home! Thank you guys past and present,for sitting and making this program available to countless guys and graduate their year!
