I had a bad experience with this place, its a typical methadone program, they want your money and staff seem lazy and dont want to do any work. its a long wait time to get medicated everyday because its chaos and no one knows what they are doing. Do youre research of director and staff and their background/ qualifications. Much better run treatment programs close by with qualified staff.

The 1 star rating about this Institute could not be more wrong. They are caring,honest,fair,informative medically competent and have the highest degree of integrity. They have literally saved my life. If you need help and follow the program you will be successful.

This clinic is a complete joke. These counsellors have completely lost sight of their purpose. If I'm not mistaken the purpose of a methadone clinic is to help individuals escape the power of addiction to opiates. This is not Frederick's purpose. Fredericksburg purpose is to feed a legal drug to their clients and push the ones who really have a desire to stop using back out into the street. i know a person who is currently going to this clinic and that individual has actually been clean for over a year. Every day these people say something or do something just to show their control power. People who are doing well and doing well for that long shouldn't be treated the same way they treat the patients who come in in the morning and then spend the rest of their days getting high. There is no reason to be controlling just to be controlling. Now I understand there are rules and I understand that addicts have put themselves in the position they're in but if you are an addiction counsellor then your goal should be to help people and not push them back out into he street to score dope. In the street it's a hell of a lot easier to get your drug of choice than it is to get it from a clinic for addiction treatment. This is unbelievable the way they treat people who are succeeding it's like they do everything in their power to push them out to he street. How many people have died at the hands of this clinic.
