I would recommend Genisis Treatment center to anyone who has the desire to get their life back on track. The staff is very friendly, caring and professional. I thank god everyday that I chose Genisis to call the day that I decided enough was enough. Definitely the clinic to go to if you are ready to change your life. Recovery is possible.

This review is specifically about Joel Prell and the director Sharon! Having one of the worst two days of my life while trying to maintain my sobriety, I called Genesis in Westminster for help. I thought I could guess dose this week and was told no because of the up coming holiday. I can take no for an answer but then I asked if I would be able to make an intake appt. Not only was I brushed off but I was talked to In such a way that I actually cried and ending the phone call feeling hopeless and even worse than hopeless I felt belittled and less than. I felt worthless. I do want to also say when I spoke with Nancy she was awesome and helpful and told me to stop being so apologetic. I only wish I could have spoke with her first. To get to the point joel and sharon went completely above and beyond to help me In My time of need. It's hard enough reaching out as an addict. So horrible feeling shut down and out!. I hope I thanked them appropriately but I'll never be able to thank them enough. They probably saved my life because I was already passed precontemplation and into go mode to get high. They for sure saved me from myself and absolutely saved my sobriety!!!! Thank you Nancy, Joel, and Sharon for getting me through this!!I hope they get the recognition they deserve. It's one thing for them to do their job,but it's something entirely different when you can tell someone cares!!! Many thanks to all. Very happy with this place. In over ten years of abusing drugs, this has been the first and only place that I have had success at. Just celebrated 4 years clean. They must be doing something right!

This place has a handful of staff that care. The reception has poor attitudes and is rude. They break rules and are very unprofessional. If you can choose another outpatient program... I have to put 1 star just to leave my opinion but I truly give them no stars....
