First of all, Linda Sullivan always keeps family members and friends up to date regarding the health status of the patients regarding Covid as well as the staff members in a timely manner. She is efficient, effective and knowledgeable about the facility at Genesis-Gettysburg Center. Secondly, when I call for information regarding my housemate, since I am POA for his health, I receive the most current information regarding his progress from Ms. Cornell. The nurses and other staff members are friendly and go out of their way to help me contact Michael, when I am unable to reach him by phone. They are so helpful. Michael really appreciates the manner in which his therapists work with him. They are encouraging and supportive. They work diligently with Michael. My father was here from 2014 thru 2020 and the staff was very good, the home itself was better than any in Gettysburg itself. My mother is now there and even though some small difficulties due to pandemic, they are still caring and work as hard as they can with the issues at hand. Any time I would call in with any questions or concerns they are handled. I would recommend Gettysburg center to anyone. We all have to remember, if you have a loved one there, they are not the only ones there and you can't expect things to be handled at the drop of a dime, but it will get done. The nurses/aides do the best they can and some go above and beyond what they have to. Thank them for what they do, show them the appreciation they deserve. They are caring for your loved one as best they can.

Very pleased with the care being provided to our loved one. The staff is competent and attentive. They have consistently taken COVID very seriously and during the height of the pandemic kept families updated with bi-weekly video conferences.

Let me share with you an experience I recently had with Genesis Nursing Home/Rehab Center in Gettysburg, Pa. Several weeks ago my beloved family member was admitted to Genesis for short term rehab/wound care.During her time there she was treated with respect and given excellent care. The staff is competent, caring and very professional. I have been a nurse for over thirty years (now retired) and I heave been in the health care environment most of those years. I have to say that Linda Sullivan, Administrator of Genesis is one of the finest patient/family advocates I’ve known. She is very much involved with her staff and smooth running of the facility. She goes above and beyond as needed to make difficult times easier for clients and their families. I would definitely recommend Genesis to anyone in need.
