At Golden Peak Recovery drug rehab and alcohol treatment centers near Denver, Colorado, we’re enthusiastic about recovery — because we’ve seen firsthand the difference it has made for so many people struggling with addiction.

We designed Golden Peak Recovery to be an intimate environment, with a low staff-to-client ratio. The smaller setting allows our dedicated staff to get to know you better, and to devise a personalized addiction recovery plan that addresses your needs — including mind, body and spirit. Throughout all phases of treatment — including detox, residential inpatient treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs — you’ll have access to innovative programs that give you the tools to succeed long after you’ve graduated from rehab.

You’ll experience individual and group therapies, wellness and fitness, as well as recreational outings that make the most of our beautiful mountain location. Along the way, you’ll form lasting friendships and build a network of sober support that can last a lifetime.

What a great facility to work through recovery. The facility and staff are great! Henry the case manager works so hard to push you in the right direction and help set you up for success. All the staff is kind compassionate.

The best recovery program I have been a part of. Not an easy program but the one that will prepare you with the best tools to be successful. Henry is a great case manager who truly cares about his clients and holds them accountable.

I highly do not recomment this place. I was enrolled for in an OP setting which consisted of one therapy session and one "group" session that was generally me and usually 1-2 other people. I did this for approximately 3.5 months. I was told multiple times my insurance would cover everything (and I would not have enrolled had that not been the case). I was never shown possible costs or what the cost per week was, stupidly assuming I could count on their word that they had run my insurance and that it would be covered. More than 6 months after leaving treatment I received a bill for over $14,000 dollars. Somehow those 10 ish weeks of one group session and 1 therapy session cost over $1000 per week! I was told it was likely an insurance issue. After many emails, calls etc. I was told the issue would be taken care of. A month ago (more than 13 months after ending treatment) I receive a notification I owe over $4,000 still. I wish I had never had anything to do with this place. Edit: The number provided in the response does not work. It takes you to an automated response line for Dell EMC (if I heard it correctly)

I had a terrible experience here. I voluntarily went to get help here and they ended up calling the police and charging me with two charges. Now it is messing with my personal life in getting a job and having to deal with court. I cannot believe the steps they took instead of giving me the help I needed or sending me to a different detox. I highly recommend not going here and it is so scary to me that a recovery place would do this to a patient looking for treatment. They made me sign papers while extremely intoxicated and took my 5k for weeks. The communication between the headquarters in FL and the Lakewood location is so disconnected. This location in Lakewood CO was extremely unprofessional. I give this place zero stars.

Do not take your loved ones here. They are unorganized and not a real facility. My husband checked himself into golden peak voluntarily for alcoholism and I was happy at first. Then came the non communication to me and the lies from the staff were extremely worrisome. The counselor Krista had set up a time to do a zoom call Christmas morning with my husband and kids. The time came and passed. Three hours later I had called to check and nobody knew about the call. This is now the third time this has happened. She assured the day before Christmas that we would talk to him since there has been mixups in the past 4 days. My kids never got to talk to their dad on Christmas. Also, He was always so out of it and I continued to ask what medications were prescribed and was told just blood pressure medicine, very strange. They go and pick up the medication with his credit card from a Walgreens. There is no doctor on site that actually gives you the medicine. Not sure if that’s normal, but to me a real facility would have that on site. My husbands best friend and I have done research and two of the positive reviews are made up. I honestly believe this facility is just trying to milk our insurance.
