Nursing and care staff in rehabilitation section are very nice, but the same cannot be said for PT. The physical therapist is rude to my mother and father on a regular basis, talking down to both and not using any positivity or encouragement to help my father progress. Essentially, they have given up on trying to gain mobility or get my father to the point that he was prior to his last hospital/rehab stay. This paired with the obnoxious way they have spoken to my mother, who has been Dad’s biggest cheerleader, care giver, and advocate, is unexceptable. I’m not able to be there during the day, nor is my sister, but we get updates daily and I have to say that they are not very reassuring or encouraging. My sister has spoken to the staff on the phone and the PT staff are unnecessarily negative (about both parents) to her. She should not have to explain that our dad will do things for my mom that he will not for a stranger. That should be assumed. All they need to do is watch him reach for a kiss when she walks into a room. The evening and weekend nursing and care staff have been kind and patient, from what I have seen. They understand that dad has good days and bad days and work with him regardless of which he is having. The PT staff does not! I’ve been told about them raising their voice to dad and giving up or being uncooperative when he is in pain and unable to do what they are barking at him to do. If they are calling themselves a Rehabilitation Center, then they need to get the PT staff up to par on patient care and empathy. Teach then to listen and not just ASSume that they know everything about each person that they are tasked with treating. Over the course of the past 10 years, Dad has been in a center for rehabilitation at least once a year. This is, by far, the worst that we have seen. They have made zero progress in three weeks!

Receptionist, Nurses, CNA's and staff is great . Pothole at the end of driveway needs to be filled in. If possible please check linens for TV Remote. Thank You😀

My mother actually has a REAL social life since being at Golden. The treatment my mother receives from the staff is phenomenal. My mother is very comfortable at Golden and tries hard to remember everyone's name. We are not a big family and appreciate the assistance provided by Golden. Jacqueline Hinmon

I have to say I am disappointed in this place . I have 2 members in Golden and a lot of thing I am disappointed with throughout the past couple of years . I have taken a lot of new clothes to both of them yet when I go to visit they are wearing clothes that I do not know were they came from . Also I have gotten new t,v,s for bot of them yet when I went there yesterday neither of them were hooked up at all . My Mother which is only about 1 yr old but there was a old t v there with no remote and it won't even turn on . My brothers I was able to get sound but no picture . I think they swapped my mother with a broken one . The one I bought was new and the one that is there is older . Also the lady next to my Mom said they swapped hers out . I relayed it to the nurses but I am very disappointed. As I was leaving my brother was wet his pants were soaked , I asked the mn if he could change him and he says I qill before I leave . I asked him since he is wet and you rent doing anything could you please change him . I am not sure if they did or not . I know they have a hard time with staff and stuff but this is gotten worse since Covid came into play . We can't go in to see anything and when I got in I was surprised. I hope to hear back from David because I have about #200.0] in the v ,s and I am just tired of this stuff . I have spoke to others in the home and there Relatives and most have the same issues. I hope to hear from them so we can get there t vs working and stuff .
