At Golden Steps Recovery, we are not here to just get people sober, we are here to help change lives. We are here to help build long-lasting relationships between families and the community, and hope to bring families back together.  Mothers and Fathers back to their children, and your loved ones back to purposeful lives.  We are dedicated to help improve and work for the people of Cache Valley, UT. Golden Steps Recovery has created a safe environment for all individuals struggling with their addiction to openly share about their struggles and learn about recovery. Through this environment, we have been able to create a strong group cohesion and by offering activities outside of group therapy sessions like Friday night movie nights, Client BBQ’s, service activities, etc. Working one-on-one with clients is where we can help make a big difference. 70% of change is made through the therapeutic relationship. Golden steps team recovery has helped me tremendously! Has helped guide me from my deepest lows to new found peaks of happiness and self worth. The staff there is incredible. They make you feel wanted and at home. I owe it all to the team at golden steps for not only helping me but others that I’ve grown to call family. An absolute amazing place to be and learn from. They will do everything the can to help guide you down a path you get to create to be the best person you want to be. This place is truly sacred to me. I've never felt more safe and at home than I did at Golden Steps. The staff, the group, and the atmosphere are unlike anything I've ever experienced. You can learn how to get sober anywhere. If you want to learn how to change your life and become happy, joyous, and free.... Golden is where you want to be. Words cannot express how blessed I am to have experienced and graduated from this program. I wish I could show the tears of joy that drip on my phone just remembering how special the experience was. I love Golden Steps and everything it represents.

After dealing with addiction and mental health issues for year and not knowing what to do or even begin dealing with it, I made the leap all the way from Washington state. Taking a leap of faith but desperate to overcome all that was wrong inside my mind and it was the best choice I could’ve made! While there are places to go elsewhere for treatment I can honestly say nothing can beat Golden steps! The team there have become family to me along with all my peers. If you or anyone you know is battling with addiction or mental health I urge you to look into Golden steps! I thought I was a goner but the team and my peers there proved me wrong!

After going through a variety of treatment facilities through my personal addiction, I can honestly say that Golden Steps is in a class of it's own. The atmosphere here is unlike any other treatment center in this valley, or state.

Merry Christmas Colden. I didn't not want the year to leave us without thanking you. The last year's have been the most difficult for our family. Learning how to move forward after our child tried to take his life, to learning how to watch spiral down, to learning how to let go, and hear God, to trust him, to just love. Since our son started at Golden Steps, he has learned lots of lessons. He is learned line upon line, growing in God's grace. His blessings are inumerous. You and your team are truly on the lord's errand, saving his children, while allowing agency to govern . I pray that he will continue bless you. Thank you from a momma's heart!
