About Goldsboro Comprehensive Treatment Center in Goldsboro, NC

Goldsboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults who are struggling with opioid addiction. Located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, our CTC serves adults age 18 and older of all genders.

MAT is an evidence-based form of opioid addiction treatment that includes prescription medication and counseling. The National Institutes of Health and several other respected organizations recommend MAT as a safe and effective means of achieving recovery from opioid addiction.

Decades ago, methadone clinics that offered MAT in the United States were limited to one form of medication. Today, centers such as Goldsboro CTC are authorized to provide multiple medication options. Depending on their unique needs, patients who seek care at Goldsboro CTC may receive methadone, naltrexone, buprenorphine, or Suboxone.

What to Expect at Goldsboro CTC Methadone Clinic

Treatment at Goldsboro CTC starts with a thorough assessment. This process ensures that our team understands how you have been impacted by opioid addiction so that we can develop the personalized plan that will best prepare you for successful long-term recovery.

One of the first decisions following your assessment will be to determine whether you will be best served by methadone or by one of our other medication options. A member of our medical staff will meet with you to explain the features and benefits of each type of medication we offer. Together, you’ll make the medication decision that’s best for you.

In addition to receiving methadone or another medication, you will also take part in individual and group counseling. The medications you can receive at a methadone clinic will allow you to stop using opioids without experiencing severe withdrawal symptoms, but they can’t address the full scope of your needs.

Counseling sessions at our Comprehensive Treatment Center will help you understand the many factors that may have contributed to your struggles with opioid addiction so that you can prepare yourself to resist relapse and build a healthier lifestyle that will support your sustained recovery.

Individualized Treatment for Opioid Addiction in Goldsboro, NC

Medication and counseling are essential parts of medication-assisted treatment for opioid addiction. For these elements to be most effective, though, they must be customized to reflect your unique history, strengths, needs, and goals.

The reason we refer to our opioid addiction treatment facility in Goldsboro, North Carolina, as a Comprehensive Treatment Center instead of a methadone clinic is because we’re committed to providing the full scope of services that will address the physical, behavioral, emotional, and social aspects of opioid addiction and recovery.

To achieve and maintain long-term recovery from opioid addiction, you may need to repair relationships, develop new job skills, get additional training, and make a variety of other lifestyle changes. We’re here to support and guide you in these efforts so that you can make sustained progress toward a healthier and more satisfying future.

It's a good place if you are desperate but the favoritism and lack of consistency is so rampant. Certain times they will let people who are a few minutes late in (even if the doors are locked) and other days they will lie and say they don't do that and it's against the policy even when you tell them you have seen them do it. That is just the worse thing on top of the many smaller things but if you can find somewhere else to go then do it.

Like the guy below me said, if you follow the rules and remain compliant in all aspects of treatment, there won't be any issues. I've had nothing but a positive experience here with the staff and my treatment. As far as the price to dose daily, that price includes your meds, counseling, drug screens, etc. I think a lot of people fail to realize that.

Most of the staff is nice...Although the rules are far to strict in my opinion, only due to the unethical fact that each patient must pay $12.25 per day (NO EXCEPTIONS)!!! If he or she is dependent on this medication desperately and happens to be one of the unfortunate ones who lacks the income or insurance needed to meet the specific financial requirements for this particular establishment then he or she will not be treated, and most likely face sever consequences or become yet another victim that has had their life taken from this horrible disease, And all because they were not financially stable enough to fork out $171 for only two weeks of medication. It really bothers me when a facility not only makes money on sick people but also is given the power of deciding the fate or outcome of a complete strangers health...who do they really think they are? SCUM!!!..........NOW on the flip side this facility has saved numerous lives and will continue to for years to come they offer a legal medication for a reasonable price (FOR SOME) They make this medicine available to the public and distribute it in a very safe manner and environment, which gives the patient the comfort of knowing that they will not face severe side affect or harmful reactions because if they do suffer from any side affect they will have plenty of time to reverse the process, this is due to the process in which the patient is being dosed....I do have many more negative and positive opinions about this facility but for now I will keep those to myself thank you for reading and goodbye -Zachary Ward- I.D.# 100643
