Greater Boston Addiction Centers

Greater Boston Addiction Centers is a progressive new drug rehab program located in Needham, MA. About 30 minutes west of downtown Boston, our drug treatment programs offer hope, resources, and mental health counseling to people who are struggling with addiction. I have struggled with substance abuse for most of my adult life. After multiple admissions to various detox and rehab facilities, I finally found GBAC. Their approach to sobriety was what I needed. Their one-on-one sessions and group meetings guided me through the steps required to change my life. The staff had personal knowledge of addiction and shared their experiences which made me comfortable opening up and discussing mine. From the first day I arrived at GBAC I felt the compassionate support of the entire team. Every staff member is in recovery and I was really able to learn a lot from them. Everyone in the building has something in common and a common goal. The staff truly cares about the success of each patient. The treatment approach is multifaceted and does not just deal with the alcohol or drug problem but the person problem. GBAC transformed my life. I recommend anyone who is struggling with addiction to call GBAC. I am someone who has struggled with addiction for years and the staff there helped me have a new experience in recovery. The facility is very clean and the staff truly wanted nothing but the best for me. Not only did I have a positive experience at the day program and at their sober living facility but the staff put together an aftercare program which has helped me transition back into life while incorporating recovery in my day to day life. What can I say about my experience at Greater Boston Addiction Centers? I came in broken and desperate for help, and needed people to tell me that it was going to be okay. And that’s exactly what I got. I discounted IOP’s before but I was desperate for help without having to take time away from work and school. GBAC exceeded my expectations. I’ve never met a kinder, more supportive, and positive group of people who all took a stake in my sobriety, and for all of them I’m completely grateful. Our drug rehabilitation programs for men and women 18+ include partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient services (daytime and evening). We offer assistance to people struggling with all types of substance use disorder. We are proud to offer an employee assistance program at our Needham, MA campus. No matter what stage of addiction you’re in, recovery is always an option. Our Metro West treatment center offers treatment for opiates, amphetamines, alcohol, and other addictive substances. At GBAC we treat all types of substance use disorders. Sometimes moving on starts with deciding you won’t stay where you are.

GBAC is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time and I have seen the program change so many peoples lives for the better. The staff is amazing, they truly care about you and want the best. Even after I finished treatment they still reach out to me regularly. I was so lucky to come across this place as I have heard countless people say this is the best treatment center they have ever been to. If you want to break the cycle and better your life do yourself a favor and give them a call!

Greater Boston Addiction Centers has helped me more than I ever thought it would. I came into this program just wanting to get better, little did I know the friendships and connections I would make with the staff and fellow patients. As someone who has been to many programs, this one stands out the most to me. The balance of compassion and discipline in this program has taught me how to be self-sufficient, trust myself and show up for my life and others. The guidance I received regarding the 12 steps is also something I am eternally grateful for because of the significant changes in my personality from the steps. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for help with mental health and substance abuse.
