If you or a family member are interested in treatment but do not have insurance, there are other options for funding. Each county in Pennsylvania has a Drug and Alcohol office (D&A). The prospective client should contact their home county D&A office and explain that they are in need of treatment, but do not have insurance. The staff at the D&A office will then instruct the client on necessary steps to receive treatment. Clients also have the option of paying for their treatment out of pocket. Arrangements must be made with Greenbriar's financial department prior to admission. County Drug & Alcohol Office Phone Numbers: Allegheny: (800) 553-7499 Beaver: (724) 847-6220 Butler: (724) 284-5114 Cambria: (814) 536-5388 Fayette: (724) 438-3576 Greene: (724) 852-5276 Lawrence: (724) 658-5580 Mercer: (724) 662-1550 Somerset: (814) 445-1530 Washington: (724) 223-1181 Westmoreland: (724) 832-5880 Greenbriar Treatment Center offers the full continuum of care, which includes: Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Day Partial Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient (Day and Evening), and Halfway House. Our Inpatient and Halfway Houses are licensed for Dual Diagnosis treatment of both addiction and mental health concerns. Greenbriar Treatment Center offers a Family Education Program at the Inpatient level of care to gain a better understanding of addiction and have the opportunity to visit loved ones. The Family program takes place on Wednesday evenings from 6PM-7PM, followed by visiting hours from 7PM-8:30PM. In order to attend visiting hours, the family member must attend the family education hour and be pre-approved as a guest of the facility by the patient's therapist. Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to the start of the Family Program. If you arrive later than 6:15, you will not be admitted to Family Programming. 2 guests per patient are permitted, and must be supportive of recovery. Each guest must be at least 11 years of age. Pay phones are also available for supportive loved ones to call in order to speak with their loved one in treatment on a daily basis. You must bring photo identification (ex: driver’s license, passport, school or work ID) in order to visit. Clothing and personal items may not be brought in on Family Program days. This is by far the best treatment center in this area, and I would guess in any area. The staff is skilled and caring and the patients are helped tremendously. If you or a loved one are in need of help, this is the place where you will find it. Good luck with your journey. This is the place to start it.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! I owe my life to the therapist Ron Cambest. I would not be where I am now if it was not for him and Lori. I was so afraid at what I was walking into my first day - and they just accepted me with open arms. Ron taught me how to function in life as a “normal” member of society and loved me until I could love myself again. He taught me so much - not just how to not use again, but how to live and used many teaching methods to ensure all of his patients understand the science behind the disease of addiction. I was so impressed with the staff and the teaching methods that my husband actually went to this location after me and was able to open his eyes to this disease so many of us struggle with. If you or someone you know is struggling - this is the place to go! And I promise it works!!

I can't thank Ron and Lori enough for their patience and kindness. I felt like I was family when I was at Greenbriar and believe it or not didn't want to leave when I discharged successfully. I couldn't imagine my life if I didn't go to treatment or if I didn't have Ron Cambest as a therapist, he was really great. I was not happy being there at first and was kind of mean to him and didn't want to talk but Ron had a way of bringing all this stuff out of me and it changed my life. Thanks so much.

Ron & Lori helped me to finally get and stay sober. I continue to attend meetings as an alumni, which gives me the opportunity to see a miracle everyday. It’s the best decision I ever made.
