Don't allow your love one to go here!!! They will throw your loved one out if their employee infects them with COVID19 and use a legal loop hole to do it! They refused to treat when they caused the PROBLEM!!!! They don't want to treat any COVID19 patients and they don't care if they was the source!! They will send emails saying a worker and patient tested positive. In that same email they will say the patient is no longer there. Trust, this isn't a place for your loved one.

Please ..I beg anyone who has a loved one that is in need of physical rehabilitation to not send them to this facility. My 96 year old grandmother was basically tortured here. She had reconstructive hip surgery at Brick memorial hospital and thank god that whent well. When we found out she needed rehab we were told we have no choice but to send her here. Well that was a lie after all. After 2 nights of being in the rehab center we did everything we could to get her moved and thank god we were able to. They neglected her like I have never seen. She called us at 2 am crying her eyes out because they never came and gave her her medicine and she was trying to call them for hours. Then the next day they put her in a wheelchair and left her there for hours never coming to check on her and leaving her crying in pain again. This place should be shut down.if anyone has a friend or family member in here get them out now!!!! I beg you.

Disclosure: I have 10 years of experience in the medical field, including, but not limited to nursing homes. I was optimistic knowing this was a "Meridian" facility, since I'm impressed by their hospitals and other facilities. However, I'm greatly disappointed in what I've seen so far. My husband has only been there a few days and I'm already beyond myself with everything. Some staff seem very professional and efficient and I feel safe knowing he's in their care. I do like that they're on campus of the hospital, so if there's a problem he's close to the emergency room (cancer patient on some heavy duty treatment). Their meals for patients are really decent and enjoyable, and very reasonable for guest trays. However my positive outlook ends there, and I will be contacting someone in administration (not at the facility) when he's no longer in their care, which will be as brief as within my power. If you have a loved one that can not speak for themselves and this is your only option my advice would be to keep a close watch on them, and be their advocate. They need you now more than ever. One thing that was especially alarming was his roommate pressed the nurse button to use the restroom and 20 minutes later I went to find someone to help the poor man who couldn't walk solidly one his own. They're severely understaffed considering the care they're responsible for providing. The staff members that are the greatest assets are way overworked. The other ones are clearly only there for a paycheck and have no compassion for their patients.

My mom was there for rehab and we were very happy with her treatment and care. Now she is on the 2nd floor and is very happy there. She is treated with love and respect and complete professionalism. She's involved in many activities and loves it there. I would recommend Meridian very highly. Always treated with kindness and courtesy!! The
