Sobe*Rose1 StarIt’s been almost a year since my kid was inpatient at this hospital. To this day we struggle with the aftermath of the Doctor telling my kid that their Autism diagnosis isn’t valid. I still don’t get it and EVERY professional we have worked with since expresses some level of shock and awe. Not once was my kid or myself asked what testing was done. Only told that it doesn’t happen that way. This has made our path harder and I blame the Doctor for not doing his homework. It is and it always was a valid diagnosis. You further destabilized my kid.Wednesday 23rd February 2022
Kayley Ternan5 StarI loved being here the staff was very friendly I was in the adult 2 unit and I would like to thank some staff in particular for helping me get through this. So dylan, Sylvia, nurse Laura, and Caitlin thank you so much for helping me get through this and being so kind to me and the rest of the patients. ❤❤ Everyone's experience is different and you have to see this place for yourself. The only downside is you can't have visitors due to covid which is the only bad thing that and phones are turned off during group time. Met some great people in there and wish them all the best of luck and anyone who's getting help.Saturday 19th March 2022
Callen Vorpi1 StarI am currently in the settlement process with this hospital. Harbor Oaks Hospital and Dr. TIMOTHY CHAPMAN ruined my life. I have crippling PTSD from my experience and abhorrent treatment in this ASYLUM. This hospital and doctor are a danger to the community with their blatant disregard for the standard of care and mental health code. I was held illegally without valid petition or consent and kidnapped in this facility for 15 days while being gaslighted by Dr. Chapman into believing the life threatening events that led me to the hospital were not real all while my family was fighting to corroborate and clarify. I was threatened with chemical restraint and violently prevented from calling the New Baltimore Police in an appropriate situation. Dr. Chapman's sobriety had to be questioned in court, he is a 3 time loser with an alcohol problem.Sunday 20th March 2022
Mellisa Gardner1 StarMy daughter was there for twelve days and let me tell you the communication from the doctors and nurses there is non existent. They changed meds without talking to me which is wrong in my opinion. I got a call on Tuesday from a not so very pleasant lady about them discharging my daughter the next day. She was very short and not very helpful in how the discharge process works.Friday 25th February 2022
Emy Deshotel1 StarDo not send your loved ones here.
They use Ativan as a first resort and will not give you any meaningful access to mental health professionals. I left this facility worse than when I went in.Wednesday 5th January 2022
