My aunt has been a resident at the Heritage Center for over 19 months. I personally can say that my experience with the staff has always been very positive. For instance one afternoon I was speaking to my aunt on the phone, and she started crying because she had misplaced her glasses. I called the social work department and Veronica went to my aunt's room and found her glasses in her shoe. Every one in all the departments have been so kind to her. I do facetime and January makes sure it goes smoothly. When I have an opportunity to visit my aunt in Huntington, her room is always very clean and her bedding is clean. My aunt likes all of her food. The staff fixes it so she is able to eat it. Actually she eats food that she would never eat before. The nursing staff is very reachable. If anything out of the ordinary happens, they always check with me. My aunt always tells me that everyone is nice to her. It gives me a great sense of relief to know that she is well taken care of.

I like this place. They do have activities. The staffs are good to residents. When there's short staffs I understand that wsiting on someone to come in my room when I pushed the call button and it will take a while before they come in. They can not to do twice in one same time. Have to be patience and they will come in. The staffs are friendly!

My mother has been at The Homestead for almost a year now. I cannot say enough good things about the level of care that she has received. Caring for someone with Dementia has so many challenges and the staff at Heritage is patient and kind. I appreciate everyone there that has made this journey more manageable.

I never wanted to put my mom in a nursing home, fought it for years… when she could no longer take care of herself we chose Heritage Center. She was on the TCU floor- I found it to be surprisingly clean. Her room was a little small but they moved her to a much larger room as soon as one came available. She quickly made friends with her roommates and fell in love with all the staff she came in contact with. I was finally able to sleep at night knowing that my mom was both happy and safe in her new surroundings… she spent the last months of her life with her Heritage family and for the love they showed her I will be eternally grateful…

Every time I visit an elderly neighbor of mine the staff have been friendly and helpful. Patients are taken care of like family here. I would recommend Heritage to anyone needing long term care
