AhNonda has over 13 years of clinical experience as an Addictions Therapist, with 5 years in leadership as a Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Director, and Vice President. AhNonda is a graduate from Purdue University with a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Law and Society.
She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Community Psychology 2008 from Martin University and obtained her clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor in 2011. She specializes in the treatment of Addictions, Dual Diagnosis, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, grief, and Bipolar Disorder. Additionally, AhNonda has 8 years of experience as an adjunct professor teaching Introduction to Addictions Studies, Introduction to Behavioral Sciences, and Crisis Intervention Strategies online and in the classroom.
In her spare time, AhNonda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being an unofficial and unpaid foodie, and catching up on murder mystery tv series and movies.

bradlee burton5 StarIf you have someone you love that is suffering from addiction get them here, the neighborhood is kinda meh, but what lays inside will change your whole world. From the kitchen staff Mama and her ladies that work in the kitchen are amazing the food is amazing and you will never be hungry. Ms
.Lisa and Michelle, they are some of the first faces you will see and they are angels they made me feel like family not just a number on a chart. The nursing staff is amazing as well if you are in need of something medical they will get you in to see the doctor, Quinn who has never used will be your go between with the doctor and he will treat you like family too. Now last but not least you case managers are amazing BIG SHOUT OUT to Eric and Matt they are simply amazing just short of being angels they both helped me so much and Eric got me into a place that is hard to get into and he got in there, he played the biggest role in helping me change my life. Love him like a brother. Armando and Will will be hard on you but they do it out of love. Simply put this place is a gift from God. Jared Volk5 StarI had a great experience at Hickory Treatment Center. The staff is very helpful and friendly Stephanie and Matt were awesome and Mama is a great cook in the kitchen. Justin Johnson5 StarAll the staff was awesome, I really liked the smaller groups and felt comfortable sharing personal matters. The food and janitorial services were always making sure we had plenty to eat and the facility is always clean. My casemanager was always available and pushing me to do my best and to get out of my comfort zone. All the staff have basically become a friend to me. I would recommend Hickory to anyone needing help with substance abuse.Tuesday 12th October 2021
