My daughter was sent here on an involuntary admit a week ago. It has been the scariest thing that has ever happened to my family. Kennestone hospital had absolutely no compassion, but sending her here was the one thing that they got right. The staff and resident physician were so empathetic to our uneasiness. They had no legal obligation to share my daughter's treatment or progress since she is 21, but they saw that involving me in her care was what was best for her and I am forever grateful that they chose the path of understanding over keeping a bed filled. Because the Dr gave us clear, concise explanations (even drew a diagram on scratch paper❤️) and then allowed us to make the decision together (and not just my daughter, scared and alone), we won't hesitate to go back there if she ever has any issues arise in the future. The nurse practitioner student nurse, Ashley was the sweetest thing and I truly believe the time she personally spent with my daughter over the weekend helped with her breakthrough!

The absolute best experience I have had in a crisis stabilization unit the employees are genuinely caring they go above and beyond to accommodate people The way they operate should be duplicated in other centers (Especially Cobb County)
